Hey it's me whats up

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

Small version 2.2 update with iPhone X support and some bug fixes, available now. This a hold over release while we finish up a big new version of Manual. The daddy of this app got distracted trying to follow his dreams. Thanks for your patience 💋

FYI: VSCO can now edit your raw DNG files.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@AirCavScout Sorry, Apple sets the limits of the device sensor. Would if we could.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@AirCavScout Wait no, 2000 ISO. But that’s just this model, can’t remember what others do.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@thetigreee Open in Lightroom or on your mac in Photos or Preview to see properly. Not everything supports DNG.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@thetigreee They are full res but you are seeing the low-res preview cause you’re opening in incompatible apps.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@AirCavScout They vary between iPhone models, for shutter and ISO range. My 7 Plus goes to 1500.

@bfdempsey In settings, toggle off “save raw” and toggle on again to get choice again. (Cog icon bottom right for settings)

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@noahdleigh We don’t no, but plan to add exposure bracketing to allow custom HDR.

@bcdotphoto Awesome!

@ItsWilder Here’s an example. https://t.co/14J6R7FofS

[William Wilkinson @willw]

High ISO example of RAW vs JPEG with iPhone. JPEG turns to mud with noise.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@ItsWilder that’s how iPhone images look from the sensor with high ISO. With JPEG processing Apple does very heavy noise reduction to hide

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@Briandtx1313 Well the whole idea of the app is direct manual control, that’s more of a psuedo auto camera.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@gabedonohoe Mm we don’t have burst currently. Not sure if DNG could keep up.

[Manual for iPhone @shootmanual]

@amsk Same as any other photos shot, saved on camera roll, import same as always
