On July 22, 2025, the SEC approved Bitwise’s application to convert its $BITW fund into a spot crypto ETF — listing on NYSE Arca with $1.68B AUM and exposure to:

BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, SUI, LTC, #DOT, LINK, AVAX

But… 🚨

On the same day, the SEC invoked Rule 431 to “stay” the approval — triggering a full Commission review. The ETF is now paused with no clear timeline for launch.

• Public notice: Dec 3, 2024
