Northern Lebanon’s own Aaron Seidel is a WORLD CHAMPION!

Seidel captured the U20 World Championship at 61 kg today in Bratislava, Slovakia, winning 7–0 in the gold medal match.

I am still trying to figure my swing out again and the mechanics, however I am so proud of myself. About 3 months ago I had SLAP repair surgery on my shoulder for my labrum being torn in 2 spots. Since then I have been itching to get back to softball, but have also been stuck in a mental block. Recently I got clearance from the doctor to start hitting, so today I finally took my first swings in months. My first swings since surgery. While it is still a mental challenge and scary, slowly, I am getting back to where I was before and even better. Now, comes throwing. Within the next few months is when I will begin the process of throwing and soon be back better than ever.

Great tournament this weekend!! We didn’t end how we wanted to, but we battled through tough teams and the heat. I went 7-15 this weekend, with 3 RBI’S, and 2 runs scored. I am so excited to keep playing with my girls throughout this summer!! @Stars_Albarano @starsnationalfp

🥎 Proud of the Lady Vikings 🥎

Northern Lebanon Softball saw its season come to an end Monday afternoon with a 5-0 loss on the road against Valley View, the defending State Champion, in the 1st round of the PIAA State Championship Tournament.

While the result was not what the Vikings had hoped for, there is so much for this team to be proud of. They represented their school, the Northern Lebanon community, and all of Lebanon County extremely well throughout a tremendous season.

From their run to the District 3 AAAA Championship Game to earning a spot in the State Tournament, the Vikings gave their community a lot to cheer about this spring. Competing on the state stage is never easy, especially against a program like Valley View, but Northern Lebanon battled and showed why they belonged among Pennsylvania’s best. They even outhit Valley View 5-4 in the game, proving just how dangerous they can be.

Congratulations to the Vikings on a very successful season. Lebanon County is proud of you!
