Christ at the rate they’re cutting isolation times by next week once you’ve waited for the fluid to reach the end of the lateral flow then congratulations you’re back into society.
Our Director of Public Health, Dr Graham Foster, is urging local people across Forth Valley to remain extra vigilant, take regular Covid-19 tests and get vaccinated after a small number of cases of the new Omicron variant were confirmed in Forth Valley.

I don’t think many people fully understand what hospitals look like inside- the pressures on the NHS and the burn-out & exhaustion of staff. Any more media coverage of this would be welcome. {Hint: The problem isn’t GPs or staff}.
05/08/ 1991- 2021. It’s been exactly 3 decades since I began my journey as a nurse. So grateful for all the dear friends, special, privileged moments & great lessons over those years, easily the best thing I have done in my life.

UPDATE- Ted has been gone over 7 weeks now, everyday without him home gets harder, harder to see my father in law not want to leave the house, his confidence he got back completely gone.
Harder to think about what Ted is going through and how he’s being treated.
Just finishing the update now!
There's lots more data to add on a Wednesday, and I have a class at the same time so it's always a struggle 😭
Hoping it'll be done in 10 minutes, then I'll tweet out a thread with some of the new figures and updates
Doesn’t seem fair when Boards paying up to £100 ph to GP Practices who sign up to support Covid Vaccination clinics. GPNs being asked to join staff banks at bottom Band 5 whilst redeployed AHPs paid their substantive post salary. No wonder staff feeling undervalued #disgruntled
@LynneInnes1 @GillDennes@RCNScot@eileenmckrcn@shopsnon68 That’s a really good point about the pay rates. haven’t seen optometrists or others rates but would be interested to compare.
