@martyrmade What you refer to the exception is the norm, and you have no evidence to support your claim - social media amplifies the extremes. Also the 9/11 claim holds little water since the US wasn't under continued attack within its borders.
@martyrmade Pretty weak argument that conveniently ignores current events. People torching and shooting up jewish schools in major cities (Toronto, Montreal, Paris). Jews around the world have very legitimate reason to feel unsafe. At least less safe than non-Jews.
@fleurbsies Only a very deranged antisemite would equate condemning terrorists attacks on innocent people and condemning anti-semitism as being pro genocide. In fact, nowhere in his message does he say anything about being pro-Israel. Just anti terror.
@CanadianFSWC Do any of these people even know why they are boycotting Zara? Company has nothing to do with Israel and the fashion campaign that caused such an uproar was shot before the war began. And they apologized.
@PatriciaHeaton With all due respect, Mayim was never particularly popular among Jeopardy fans and had been a controversial choice to host from day one. I don’t think this has anything to do with speaking out in support of Israel.
@HarshaWalia What do these people even want at this point? Canadian governments voted in favour of a ceasefire. What is the end game? Would they like Canadian military to intervene?
