The amount of times I’ve completely redesigned the floor plans and facade of my project in the last 3 days is insane. But on the plus side I’ll have lots of progress photos for final review 😅

A thread of things my roommates have said while high:

“I feel a giant pretzel forming in my body”

*picks up pub mix container with feet* “flip and she sticks the landing”

For context my studio class is supposed to be a 5hr zoom call.
Today we’ve set a new record: the call was 6 minutes long today. We opened zoom and my prof said “I’m not feeling class today, let’s cancel”

Thinking I was muted I said “thank goodness because we’re gonna need it.”
My prof immediately starts laughing and goes “Emma was that you?” And keeps giggling.
I’d like to never go to that class ever again, thanks.

So when you come back from breakout rooms in zoom usually it mutes you automatically so I didn’t think anything of it or to check. This is a vital detail.

Our professor then starts to talk about our midterm in 2 weeks and mentions how they’ve decided to give us a full week versus the prior 3 days and further 90 minute deadlines.

My structures professor:

both: cracking up, like really hard
thea: I’m such a catch, who wouldn’t want to date this!

i have never had a tutor before, but I really was not getting this structures homework. WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME HOW AMAZING TUTORING IS, like this kid solved all of what I was doing wrong in a matter FIVE MINUTES I’d been looking at them for FOUR DAYS! FOUR DAYS! it’s magic

My favorite macaron shop is closing and I’m 5 hours away, with no hope of going again before they’re gone for good :(

i would like more plants but here’s my dilemma, I don’t have space for more plants and I also don’t have money for more plants. Another thing: 3 of the plants I currently have are maybe dying and I can’t figure out why

I haven’t been excited about a music release in so long, and that’s a nice thing to have back :) now I just want corona to chill out so we can have concerts again

Tip: ask to clean up the kitchen a little, and when your roommates say yes, also clean out the fridge and organize the cupboards. Then make popcorn to mask the cleaning smell.
They’ll love you forever.
