@btaplatt The project was a Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Maintain. The P3 Project Co has financed this project. The Canadian government is paying the Project Co over the course of the concession and shouldn't have any debt right? This is the "maintenance cost".

I wouldn't change much. Hostels were better than I thought and should have stayed in them more. Length was good and challenging.

Aside from the lock debacle the ride couldn't have gone better. Great weather, no mechanical issues, no flats.

After help from some very nice passers-by I was able to get the bike free. The lock mechanism was busted. Brute for e didn't work.

Lock broken. Bike is now locked outside mcdonald's in Peterborough. Working on breaking the lock.

Last day! Will reach 1000 km for the trip sometime today. Sunny but a stiff 20 kph headwind. Looking forward to seeing weedy and my own bed.

Cathedral was great. Like English gothic cathedrals. Very dramatic. Great stained glass. Now back at hostel, cleaned up, waiting for laundry
