@mcahogarth I don't know, I'm sold on the meta-blurb and would like to know more

[shoulderdrake @shoulderdrake]

@mcahogarth ever since CRISPR i have no suspension of disbelief when it comes to biology in fiction, i'll just believe anything

[shoulderdrake @shoulderdrake]

@mcahogarth I love hard sci-fi, and for the longest time I also loved fantasy that behaved like hard sci-fi. Magic A is Magic A and all that

but what i'm slowly figuring out is that 'internally consistent' and 'ineffable' aren't mutually exclusive, and i think i want to play with this idea.

@mcahogarth @SpaceXAI Google shut it down, unfortunately.

[shoulderdrake @shoulderdrake]

@mcahogarth why is that? is this an anti-smudging tic wrt drawing from nose to back of head, like right-handed writing going left-to-right trails the output behind you? or is it something else?

[shoulderdrake @shoulderdrake]

@mcahogarth is this supposed to replace pacing around your own house

[shoulderdrake @shoulderdrake]

@mcahogarth FYI while you've been gone the game has been running nice and smooth without major issues, and we've all been having fun. 4.5 months is a lot of time to spend pushing on the daily, so it's important to take the time you need.

[shoulderdrake @shoulderdrake]

@mcahogarth ...oh, it said 'don't'.

whoops.

[shoulderdrake @shoulderdrake]

@mcahogarth Depends how long you track them for, I think, and whether or not there is magic. Magic? Fantasy. Track them into space? Sci-fi. Neither? Um, xenohistory? maybe?

would still read it though
