@RichardBurgon Responses in this thread are absolutely bonkers. They are basically saying billionaires are not rich and those in poverty are not poor - because poverty is a relative measure. If I’d saved £1m per year since the Battle of Hastings, I still wouldn’t be a billionaire.
There are 4.3 million children in poverty in the UK.
There are 171 Billionaires.
That's why at next week's budget, I'll keep fighting for a Wealth Tax on the super-rich.
You can spend a lifetime waiting for others to do the right thing. Or you can rise without fear to every challenge, unite those around you, and embark on a journey together.

Fully agree with Jon @jon_trickett The Forde inquiry was to report by July 2020. Over a year later one of the basic questions the inquiry was established to investigate still has not been answered. It opens up charges of a cover up. The solution is to publish the report in full.
Alexa: show me three twats who can't handle their drink.
Pinky to anyone who can ID these morons who went round Finsbury Park last night vandalising small businesses
There are officers stopping women outside Finsbury Park station to fill out questionnaires about violence against women and girls. Perhaps I was a little defensive when one asked if I had a minute, and I responded with “am I being detained?”
I hear David Lammy claims we produced uncosted policies at the last election. Despite being a Labour candidate standing on that manifesto he must have missed the Grey Book published with the manifesto costing every policy & paper costing Waspi policy. https://t.co/SMiFoEz5UP
We must all oppose the Liverpool Arms Fair.
Security isn't the ability to kill others - it's to be able to eat, have clothes and deal with the environmental disaster we face.

@jeremycorbyn@RichardBurgon Those of us that are sensible & have brain cells agree totally Jeremy what people do not realise this is the start of HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME that 95% of people in the UK will not be able to afford
I support @richardburgon 's amendment to scrap the Tory National Insurance hikes.
Instead, there should be a Wealth Tax on the super-rich - those with assets over £5m.
This could fund much-needed investment in our social services, including a National Care Service for all.
