Why am I so supportive of #WangChai?
For me, the narrative of @WangChaidotbonk has always been more than just a "Chinese ticker."
It's a movement in which Chinese users are giving voice.
In the years since I've been in the space, from Gamefi to NFT, and now the MEME coin movement, we've always been at a disadvantage.
- Time Zone -
In the early days, to keep up with NFT public sales and various community interactions, the busiest time zone was always UTC+0.
That year, I lived a life of utter chaos.
I worked so hard that I developed endocrine and autonomic nervous system disorders.
I was diagnosed with a disease, had surgery, and gained 20kg.
Later at 2022, thanks to the bear market caused by FTX, it gave me two years to get my health back on track.
This is why I now feel so PTSD about sitting around and the community.
- Language -
The predominantly English-speaking environment in the cryptocurrency world often puts those with poor English skills at a disadvantage.
They either can't understand English and tend to overlook information. Or, when they do see Chinese tweets, they're often from savage influencers.
- Culture -
Many memes aren't very intuitive for Chinese users, leading to delayed engagement and a lack of firm commitment.
This requires additional research to even gain a basic understanding.
A deeper understanding, or familiarity with Western culture, is necessary to achieve a comparable understanding.
Well, since the rules are what they are, I'll just make the most of them and have fun.
Until Wangchai came along.
Initially, I was also biased against Chinese CTOs.
After all, so many similar sentiments in the past have only been short-lived.
Even after a few days, Wangchai remained strong. In the D group, I saw @CryptoDevinL frequently asking, "Where's Wangchai at now?"
After personally joining the community, I saw for the first time a Chinese CTO so organized in their promotion, secondary creation, and boasting.
Add to that @bonkfun PVE culture, and the team at @SolportTom, @theunipcs, and @Branche_SC supporting us in different ways.
It was only then that I truly realized the difference this community made.
It was only then that I truly felt this time might be different.
That made me believe that even a degen like me, who once thought I was invulnerable, felt this way, then I believe others must have felt the same way.
I think this is why several influential people I respect, like @Ga__ke and @BitCloutCat, were willing to speak out in support.
- Chinese ticker
- WeChat's most popular emojis
- Solana's largest Chinese CTO community
These are Wangchai's solid fundamentals.
And us, Chinese-speaking retail investors, why are we gathered here?
We want a Chinese ticker?
Yes, it's never seen before and it's cool.
We love Wangchai?
Yes, it's adorable.
We love the community?
Yes, it provides us, the supporters, with a sense of belonging.
But I think more about it: "We really want to win once."
At least that's what I personally think. I really want the entire community to know - how powerful Chinese users are, and what an important force we are.
We deserve a project, a community, a representation, and a place in this space.
In our timeline, it's $旺柴.
We have been following Liv Mom’s posts for a long time.
So when Liv received a special gift from Polaris on March 18, 2025, we felt it was a very important milestone. That’s why we chose to retweet it, you can see we retweeted it the same day.
https://t.co/Kp4fWgMWIz
When Liv Mom needed donations on August 5, 2025, we responded immediately. The official account has posted a tweet. I personally posted on my own X.

Okay, so I will reply to the three questions separately.
1️⃣ Regarding the inactivity of the @Asteroidcto@Asteroidfan
I think this may be due to my leadership style. You can see from my personal X account that I usually post only once a day and almost never exceed three posts.
Posting every day doesn’t mean anything, and it is definitely not the only metric to judge whether a community is working hard.
At that time, my decision was that we had already been working extremely hard to promote Asteroid and Liv’s story on X for a very long time.
The community had nearly a hundred Asteroid Premium accounts constantly telling everyone: you can buy the Asteroid plush toy, you can support our donations to @StJude .
But even though we tried so hard, almost no one noticed us. Because we are nobodies. We are just a group of ordinary people. We are not Vitalik, St. Jude, and we certainly cannot be Elon Musk.
Our influence on the internet was too small, even though I believed this story deserved people’s support.
So at that point, I wanted to try a new approach. I decided to shift our focus to offline photography.
We established communities in different countries. For example, in Taiwan we have our own LINE group. We hoped Liv could see Asteroid traveling all over the world.
This approach allowed us to reach many people offline. They fell in love with the cute Asteroid plush and, through it, came to understand the story and quietly supported Liv.
Of course, because my English is not fluent, this also greatly increased my communication time cost within the CTO team.
By the way, this post was written in Chinese and then translated into English by Grok. If there are any grammar errors or awkward phrasing, please bear with me.
Coordinating different communities already took a tremendous amount of my energy.
On top of that, we weren’t gaining any traction on X, and personally I don’t like posting very frequently.
I prefer to work quietly behind the scenes — just like how we never publicly shared the details of our contact with St. Jude on the official X.
So, if you choose not to support us because the official account was inactive for a period of time, that is your right.
But I believe posting tweets is not the only way to work hard, and it is definitely not the only indicator of whether a community is making an effort.
Before Elon replied to $ASTEROID story, we had already been working here for a very long time.
I don’t think anyone has the right to accuse us of doing something wrong just because we didn’t post for a while. During that period, we were the only ones fighting for Asteroid.
As a Mandarin speaker - it's tough to admit - the more CN bros in a coin - the coin fails easier.
Bullish on ETH ethereum:0xf280b16ef293d8e534e370794ef26bf312694126
During Consensus, I was asked several times about the story of ethereum:0xf280b16ef293d8e534e370794ef26bf312694126 as far as we were aware. Many people were pleasantly surprised by how we managed to exit our position without damaging the community. This is the summary.
When we set up the process for accepting crypto donations at @stjude, we set the criteria that we would convert the assets donated as soon as reasonably possible. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is focused on leading the way that the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. While we (the crypto industry) may wish the world would leap forward and be more on-chain, that isn't how it currently exists and we need dollar denoted currencies to run the hospital.
Nearly 2 years ago, .5% of ASTEROID was sent to the St. Jude ETH wallet. We didn't have a way to readily convert it into US Dollars, so we left it in the wallet.
Due to external factors, the token went from a market cap of ~$20k to over $150M. Our position fluctuated between $500k and $1M in valuation. I had several messages asking if what we were going to do, and I responded to a few that we were figuring it out.
The next 48 hours were a whirlwind of approvals, but I knew two things. We would need to go to a DEX (a first for our mission) and that we would need to avoid hurting the community. Leadership understood and gave approval for the approach and we proceeded.
Some people may disagree with how we did it, but I believe it to be the best option out of the ones that we had. Over 2 days, we proceeded to exit the position in 12 varying sized tranches. During the entire process, we kept an eye on liquidity of the token and did our best to ensure it never dropped below $3.5M and that the Net Buy pressure didn't exceed $75k.
We exited the position with over 290 ETH valued at ~$676k. Thank you to the ethereum:0xf280b16ef293d8e534e370794ef26bf312694126 community that came together on this asset. These monies will go a long way in support of the life saving mission of St. Jude.

🚀 New week, new momentum! 🚀
What a run so far:
• 208M Market Cap ATH
• 25,000 holders and counting
• Still crushing $16M+ daily volume
• 11,500 Astronauts in Telegram
• $600K+ donated to charity (and more unrealised)
• Multiple exchanges.
What a community!
Let’s make this week even bigger.
FUD. Manipulation. Relentless attacks.
NONE of it matters.
Our mission is unchanged. Every challenge is being handled.
We now stand at 25,000 organic holders, with explosive growth and unstoppable momentum.
We are riding straight through the noise, leaving every hater behind.
You cannot stop us.
The mission remains. Patience is our weapon. This resistance has only proven our strength.
Together, we thrive. We are unstoppable. We are inevitable.
Asteroid mode.
In 2021 elon musk net worth was around 250b
Doge and shib managed to reach mc of 40-80b at the time while bitcoin was trading at max price of 69k
In 2026 people are already talking about musk being worth around 800b possibly even crossing the 1t mark by eoy while bitcoin is over 80k and possibly bottomed at 60k few months ago
What does that mean for the future of $asteroid, the shiba inu mascot of SpaceX and the first shiba inu in space/mars/moon?
Who knows
But one thing is certain, a 100-200m mc is what you would call a dirt cheap deal.
Happy weekend everyone!
Elon is sending the first and only Shiba to space as the official SpaceX mascot.
SpaceX is his crown jewel.
$Asteroid will become SpaceX's crown jewel.
Soon to be recognised by everyone globally.
That instantly & naturally puts $Asteroid at the top as the #1 dog coin on-chain.
The stars are aligning.
As we prepare for the historic SpaceX IPO, Asteroid Shibas are riding shotgun on every future space mission.
Join the crew and claim your piece of history as we venture together into the unknown as the official mascot.
Shibas have long been Elon’s favorite dog breed, and to immortalize $Asteroid as the official mascot of SpaceX, the largest and most ambitious private space company in the world, we as a community are putting our mark on the future of space exploration.
Sorry Doge, we’re taking over.
Shibas… the ship is boarding. Are you ready to colonize the blockchain before liftoff?
There is only one Asteroid and if you tell yourself otherwise, you are a parasite. I've seen enough from these folk trying to lure others in.
Disgusting.
The desperation is spilling all over the feed. Don't forget to wipe yourself on your way out.
Liv's goal has always been to support St. Jude hospital.
That's why she created $ASTEROID in first place.
It's never been a 'foundation' like Bag's fee pvp version of Asteroid. It's always been helping hospitals to fight cancer.
$600,000 donation to the hospital.
Beautiful to see in crypto.
