MTAG 6’0 2028 Jacques Edwards (Williston MS, FL) is an explosive and relentless downhill attacker, powerful first step and punishing physicality. He uses his strength and aggressiveness to relentlessly attack the rim, embrace contact, and finish. Jacques is a crafty scorer using spin moves in the lane and shifty footwork. Hits the dribble pull-up. He showcases outstanding body control and is rarely ever off balance, doesn’t get knocked off his path due to his strong frame highlighted by his broad shoulders. A blend of physicality and creativity as a scorer. Quick in the half court with definite intent when attacking the rim! Jacques is also quick getting end to end with the dribble, showcases the ability to create for himself and for others. Tremendous athlete! Jacques is a threat with the jumper mostly a deep threat out of catch and shoot action. He moves without the ball nicely, catches the ball shot ready and can really fill it up from deep. Jacques attacks a hard closeout aggressively with powerful strides, he can get to the rim in a flash thanks to his ability to shift into another gear with explosiveness. A versatile defender he excels off the ball getting into passing lanes frequently using quickness and anticipation. Jacques has excellent footwork defending the dribble, light on his feet yet with the ability to play physical and stifle dribble penetration. Impressive physical profile. Elite athleticism and skilled beyond his years. An exciting prospect. #BigShots #RichmondSpringLiveOpen @BigShotsToday @BigShotsGlobal
