For those who haven’t heard the (very sad) news. 25’ Super star Oscar Hellebust is calling it quits. After a career with accomplishments a youth player can only dream of, he has decided to end it here.
The news were so big that the biggest news outlet in Norway had to report it

After a long summer the U18 Mens team ends up with the 10th place in FIBA U18 (and 2nd in the nordics). While its the best result in 10 years (since Harald Frey), the boys are definitely disappointed as the quarterfinal spot was lost by 4 points (Norway led for 28 minutes)

Norway U18 Men take their second win against Great Britain

Sivert Nordheim and Elias Demoniere lead the team with 15 and 16 points

[CBB Europe @CBB_Europe]

🇳🇴 Norway - They have modest tradition (never played Division A in any age group) but this should be their most competitive U18 team in years, maybe ever. Don't rule out an upset along the way.

Players to Watch: Ludvik Bergseng, Oscar Hellebust, Sivert Nordheim, Elias Demoniere

🇳🇴 Norway is enjoying a nice change of pace this summer

The U18 & U16 NT had a combined record of 1-19 at the Nordics over the past 2 years (9-56 between 2016 and 2023) but this time both teams finished with a very respectable 3-2
