Saw some paper where they tested Opus, Sonnet and Haiku on some 70 tasks. Opus had good rates right off the bat, but Haiku was sometimes scoring better than Opus with skills.

For me high effort Sonnet > Opus on regular. And with good spec probably as good as Opus on high.

@itamardvir @Calcutat Surprisingly Sonnet is already doing as good as opus for me. Just using sonnet on high for clear tasks + outline markdown is causing way fewer discards.
From almost 70% useless sessions before to only about 25% now.
