🇳🇬 Just here to share my personal thoughts & do not represent any group or organisation. if you're not in politics, hold those in politics accountable.
Atiku running for president for the 2nd time, fresh off being a VP, and with the Pusha T machinery behind him— 3m votes.
Atiku running for president for the 4th time, on Nigeria’s greatest legacy party that had never gotten less than 12m votes in any election in the past, with PO as his VP— 12m votes.
Atiku running for president for the 5th time, on Nigeria’s greatest legacy party that had never gotten less than 12m votes in any election in the past, with Okowa a past 2 term governor as his VP— 6m votes.
PO running for president on a mushroom party that has never gotten up to 100k votes in a presidential election in the past, with a man whose highest political office held was a 6 months senatorial stint as his VP— 6m votes.
It is clear whose popularity is grossly overestimated.
What INEC is doing is highly condemnable. Nigerians should not be struggling to register for voters card. It’s unacceptable! @inecnigeria@NGRSenate@PeterObi
The only thing that was left that didn't come out of Kenneth Okonkwo's face was catarrh.
The guy was clearly crying.
Peter Obi has not said a single thing about the ADC, why the tears?
Kenneth is crying, Uncle Dele is crying.
Have they started missing Aso Rock already?
Before you get close to Peter Obi, check your integrity and relationship with money.
Otherwise, you will on TV crying like Kenneth Okonkwo.
He should’ve just stayed in APC🤦🏾♀️
For the fact that Peter Obi is the most hated politician by his fellow politicians, is enough reason for us to come together and ensure that he’s returned as president.
He gave them amazing ₦800 Semovita. Then he gave them ₦2000 as well. They took it with glee & thanked the APC for the superb gesture.
₦2800 is more important than your children in the forest? Nigeria is a Lost Society. You have no morals whatsoever. Yours is a lost cause 💔
I have noted with grave concern the escalating wave of insecurity that has engulfed our beloved nation. Once again, Nigeria is bleeding profusely. From Zamfara, Borno, Sokoto, Katsina, and Kwara to Oyo and several other parts of the country, our citizens can no longer sleep with both eyes closed.
Banditry, kidnapping for ransom, terrorism, communal clashes, and armed robbery have tragically become daily occurrences. What is most alarming is the audacity of these criminals, who now brazenly hold live sessions on social media to taunt the authorities and terrorise the public.
This is totally unacceptable and not befitting of a sovereign nation like ours.
As someone who has served this country at various levels, including as Governor of Kano State and Minister of Defence, where we confronted and significantly reduced security challenges through decisive leadership and community engagement, I remain convinced that insecurity is not insurmountable. What we lack today is not resources, but the requisite political will and sincerity to confront this menace head-on.
The current approach has clearly failed. Despite massive budgetary allocations to the security sector, the situation continues to deteriorate rapidly. Innocent lives are being lost daily, families are displaced in their thousands, and our economy is suffocating under the heavy weight of fear and instability.
We cannot continue on this dangerous path. Nigeria’s security architecture requires an urgent and comprehensive overhaul.
Additionally, to safeguard our socioeconomic wellbeing, the government must prioritise the provision of quality education, modern infrastructure, accessible healthcare, reliable electricity supply, and essential agricultural inputs. This approach will strengthen local food production and reduce over-reliance on imports for food security.
We must immediately prioritise the welfare and motivation of our gallant security personnel, strengthen intelligence gathering, enhance community policing, and, most crucially, tackle the root causes of this crisis; poverty, mass unemployment, and poor governance through massive investment in quality education, skills acquisition, and job creation for our teeming youth. - RMK
I just received the sad news of the train derailment along the Warri–Itakpe rail corridor in Delta State.
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the families who lost their loved ones in this unfortunate mishap, and I pray for the quick recovery of those injured.
I urge the relevant authorities to investigate the immediate and remote causes of this derailment swiftly, ensure full accountability, and implement measures to restore public confidence in our rail systems. -PO
This is what you get when the party is being led by experts.
Dickson, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso are masters in this game.
APC did their primaries and kept the results away from the public.
ADC did their primaries and kept the results away from the public.
NDC did own and you want them to publish it in Nairaland and Instablog.
E be like say you don mad before. 😂
Datti of PRP is attacking Peter Obi
Kenneth Okonkwo and Dele Momodu of ADC are attacking Peter Obi
Abure of labour party is attacking Peter Obi
Bwala and APC media team attacking Peter Obi
Those that did not get ticket in NDC attacking Peter Obi
What's special about PO
@PeterObi and his Obidients have been the most transformative force in Nigerian politics in the two and half decades. The energies, the disruption and the ideas and vehemence they brought to Nigerian politics have parallel only in the 1960s.
It does not mean they are good or bad people. It means they have been immensely transformative. Any serious and fair-minded political scientist will admit this.
They should be resolute and press harder in 2027.
Kenneth Okonkwo didn't run for office.
If he were in the NDC, he would have been dragging the governorship ticket and dragging Peter Obi for not giving him the ticket.
See him sitting comfortably in Atiku's sitting room acting as a receptionist.
Nobody is dragging Atiku.
Wait o, some people were actually expecting Peter Obi to influence NDC to give them tickets? Lmao.
If Peter Obi were that kind of a person, we won’t be here with you shouting “new Nigeria is possible” na. Ahh! 😱
See Kenneth sitting in the waiting room, expecting reimbursement before going on @channelstv to speak against @PeterObi. A 57- 58-year-old man has reduced himself to a “boy-boy” politician, while his peers are contesting for positions.
Dele Momodu - I knew Peter Obi was not going to accept being VP.
Again, every arrangement in the ADC was to make Peter Obi work for Atiku. When he demanded a fair playing field, they started mocking him.
Now all of them are talking about him because without him the party is useless.
