Hi, I’m Racheal Olalekan
I’m on a mission to become a better content marketer, writer, thinker, and entrepreneur, and I’m documenting the journey as I go.
I’ll be sharing what I’m learning, testing, and applying around:
• Content strategy and marketing
• Writing and storytelling
• LinkedIn and social media
• Personal branding
• Building brands through content
• Business and personal growth
But there’s another reason I’m starting this journey across X, LinkedIn, and Substack.
I don’t want to build everything on one platform.
I’ve seen what happens when you put all your work into one place. An account gets restricted, reach changes, or something happens to the platform, and suddenly you’re back to square one.
I don’t want to keep starting over.
So I’m building across all three.
X will give me room to share thoughts, ideas, lessons, and conversations in real time.
LinkedIn will be where I build my professional brand, connect with founders and professionals, and share what I’m learning about content and personal branding.
Substack will give me a place to go deeper, write longer, and build something I have more ownership over.
I’m also building my personal brand, working with brands, and developing the skills, experiences, and body of work I need to reach Forbes 30 Under 30.
I don’t have everything figured out.
I’m still learning.
I’m still experimenting.
I’m still figuring out what works.
But I want to document the process instead of waiting until I have everything perfect.
I want to share the wins, the mistakes, the lessons, the experiments, and the things I’m learning along the way.
And honestly, I pray I keep having the energy to keep going.
Because this is a long game.
I’m building slowly.
I’m building intentionally.
And I’m building in more than one place.
If you’re building a brand, business, career, or personal brand too, follow along.
We’re learning, creating, and growing together.

I just started a 30 Days Consistency Challenge for people who want to build global brands on X.
Ever since I discovered how valuable this app could be to young professionals when used the right way, I’ve made it my life’s mission to help others figure it out and make the most of this platform.
Today, over 250 people are joining me on this journey, and I can’t wait to come back to this post on the last day and see how far we’ve come.
Let’s get to work!

Here’s the #1 rule for creating content online:
Write for a person, not an audience.
Know exactly who you’re talking to. Know what she wants, what she’s struggling with, and what she needs to hear.
Then create it for her.
Just as I name my own audience SUCCESS❤️
Name yours!
Underrated content strategy:
Don’t just study posts that went viral.
Study posts that made people:
save
share
reply
ask questions
come back for more.
Virality shows you what got attention.
Those other signals can show you what created value.
The 7 best kinds of content:
- Inform — Lists, tips, guides
- Brand — Opinions, stories
- Trust — Results, reviews
- Emotion — Positive, negative
- Awareness — Offer mentions
- Sales — Pitches.
- Combinations — A mix of multiple types
Don’t let every post do the same job.
Content Tip:
Want attention? Solve a problem.
Want trust? Tell a story.
Make your content clear
People should know exactly what you offer
and why they need it.
Nobody is coming to give you permission.
Nobody is going to tell you your idea is good enough.
Nobody is going to tell you you’re ready.
And nobody is going to hand you the audience you’re waiting for.
You have to start before anyone is paying attention.
If you’re building a personal brand from scratch:
Pick a platform and learn it.
Learn how people behave there. Learn what they respond to. Learn how to communicate there. Learn what makes people follow.
You don’t need to be everywhere.
You need to become good somewhere.
Your content strategy needs 4 things:
A clear audience
A clear topic
A clear point of view
A clear reason to create
Get these right and coming up with content becomes much easier.
The problem usually isn’t a lack of ideas.
It’s a lack of direction.
Steal this content strategy:
- Choose a skill you want to be known for.
- Study it deeply and practice it.
- Turn what you learn into content.
- Share tips, lessons, etc.
- Build an audience around it
- Use your content to create opportunities.
Don't overcomplicate it.
I’ve spent years learning content strategy.
Most of it came from creating, studying other creators, testing ideas, and learning what makes people pay attention.

That’s when content becomes a strategy.
