🚨 UPDATE: After 13 long years, the court is set to pronounce the verdict in the Chengannur Vishal Kumar murder case on December 30.
Before that day comes, the nation must remember who Vishal was… and why his life mattered.
Vishal Kumar. Just 19. An ABVP karyakarta. A young Hindu who believed that serving society and protecting our culture was his dharma.
Born near Aranmula, land of Lord Parthasarathy, Vishal grew up in the Gulf and the UK. He could have lived a life of comfort abroad. But his heart pulled him back to Bharat… to his Maathru Bhoomi.
He chose duty over comfort. Discipline over luxury.Service over self.
On July 16, 2012 At Chengannur Christian College, ABVP karyakartas were welcoming new students.Suddenly a group of Islamists from outside campus arrived and started abusing the RSS and Bhagavati Saraswati.
Vishal attempted to diffuse the tension, but CFI terrorists attacked Vishal and other ABVP volunteers with knives, daggers, and other sharp weapons.
Witnesses later told the court:
👉 Vishal was a promising young worker in the Sangh Parivar. He strengthened the Sangh work in his village and started new shakhas in the nearby villages, too. Through his contact and campaign, Vishal had been cautioning Hindus about the evil designs of Islamic fundamentalists. He was instrumental in checking several love jihad attempts in and around that area.
👉 It was revenge that drove the attackers to silence him.
Bleeding and broken, Vishal fought for life through the night. On 17 July 2012, at Kottayam Medical College, he attained martyrdom.
A son lost. A family shattered.
A young Hindu voice silenced forever.
The attackers belonged to Campus Front of India (CFI) — the student wing of the now-banned Popular Front of India (PFI).
In his short life, Vishal had already
• Built shakhas in nearby villages
• Inspired youth to stand upright
• Helped the weak
• Warned society of dangers ahead
He was not just a student. He was a torch for a generation.
For 13 years, his parents waited.
For 13 years, justice was delayed.
For 13 years, his memory kept burning in Hindu hearts.
Now, on December 30, the court will finally speak. This verdict is not just about Vishal. It is about whether Hindu lives matter. It is about whether sacrifice is remembered. It is about whether justice still has a voice in Kerala.
Vishal didn’t die for fame. He died standing for faith, culture, and courage.
Remember Vishal.
Pray for justice.
Let his sacrifice awaken us.🙏🏻🚩

As a nation, may we never forget the sacrifices for us to live and prosper.
And may we strive to be citizens worth fighting for.....
Never forget #FreedomIsNotFree 🇮🇳
my life’s entire goal is to be so fiercely self reliant mentally emotionally physically and financially that I’ll never need a shoulder to cry on, someone to stand for me or seek any favour
