GTE is now live to VIP Cohort 1.
We hand selected 10 individuals to be let onto the platform first. They're going to be working with us to ensure that the product is up to their requirements as we work to create the best trading app, ever.
What this means for this account:
• GTE will be transitioning this X account to be more active, posting daily, starting tomorrow.
• We will be contextualizing the world in terms of what is happening and what you can be trading on GTE as a response to that. Think similar to your favorite financial and tech news accounts.
• This account will also be used for GTE product updates and general community updates. If we find that we need a more direct way to communicate larger updates, we will introduce another account or another medium.
What this means for you:
• As the product progresses, we will be onboarding more and more cohorts, starting by your rank on the waiting list (Platinum + Echo investors first). With over 290k+ individuals on the waitlist, we imagine that we will increase users onboarded batch by batch. If you are not immediately onboarded, please be patient, as it will be your turn soon.
• Engaging with high quality responses across our social media (X, Instagram) is highly encouraged. We hope to make the GTE accounts across all social media platforms your number one destination to find high quality information before anywhere else alongside a very clear actionable way to turn that news into a trade idea. We expect this to get better as we get more data and reps in and are very excited to turn our community into some of the loudest voices across the worlds of Finance, Technology, and everything between.
The only that matters is the community that we build here at GTE.
Thank you for your support the past 2 years.
Let's win. Together.
LFGTE.
Near-term caveat. Management front-loaded 2026 around Mario and plans no new toy launches in H2, so the next two quarters are about holiday sell-through, not new product. Adjusted EPS of $0.25 looks much stronger than the GAAP operating result (about breakeven).
2027 is the real catalyst. Sonic and Disney’s Frozen both have theatrical releases planned, plus new anime, manga and “kidult” product lines. JAKKS holds the licenses to sell into those moments.
honest caveat; Q2’s $0.51 EPS includes $0.86 per share from one time IEEPA tariff refunds, so underlying profit is thin. Q3 is guided to a net loss of $9–12M. This is a bet on the H2 product cycle and a Q4 holiday rebound (guided to $250–260M in sales), not on the headline EPS.
Catalysts. The most prolific new-product period in company history in H2 FY27, onshore Sactionals seat production, a unified CRM rollout, and a new room platform in FY28 built on years of R&D.
The stock sold off after a beat. Shares fell ~17% after the Aug 5 report despite beating estimates. If profits keep coming, that gap is the opportunity.
Growth is already in motion. The Pekin debottleneck adds ~8% (about 5M gallons), with the full benefit expected in Q4. A third CO2 tank at Columbia targets tight premium CO2 supply in the Pacific Northwest.
45Z is a built-in earnings boost. Management expects at least $15M of 45Z income in 2026 (Q2 alone: $5.1M), and the 2025 credits were already sold. Lowering carbon intensity means more credits.
turnaround is real. Q2 2026: net income $11.4M ($0.15/share) vs an $11.3M loss a year ago. Revenue was $245.7M, up 12.5%. It’s the 4th straight quarter of positive gross profit, operating income, net income and adj. EBITDA, and management says that holds even before 45Z credits.
Diversification is the edge. Alto sells into health/home/beauty, food & beverage, essential ingredients and fuel, so it can shift production toward the best-paying markets instead of riding a single ethanol margin.
