@kunalb11 I got hold of the beta release many years back - guess in and around DeMon. At that point phone pay and Gpay was still evolving and I naively thought Whatsapp pay would be huge. Onboarding was extremely simple and had added advantage of sending pmnts while continuing the chat.

@kunalb11 Although Gpay and phone pay latter introduced chat option but the experience was never comparable to WhatsApp. People would chat on whatsapp and pay on other platforms. It never became a singular platform.
fyi even I don't use whatsapp pay 🤷

There was also a prof for 4th year elective algorithm course who conducted all his exams on paper. Imagine writing code for BFT search / double linked list on a piece of PAPER.🤷

@ap_pune @IndiaHistorypic IIT Kgp has been quite old school when it comes to subjects like these. We still had 50% of clases on drawing board and rest in auto CAD. Not sure if it changed now. We were also taught programing 101 in C 🤷
