@shadd4p@martinimcfli@lomoliz@nationalrailenq Maybe she just wants parity. We have a network railcard in London & the South East that you can get at any age and gives you 1/3 off.
@hb1290hb@goskiz0 Me too. On planes I watch it the whole flight. Short haul they don’t have screens & Long haul I watch what I want to watch. Also watch on every train journey of more than 30 mins I go on, which is several times a week.
@KirstieMAllsopp The difference is Kirstie that I don’t need to upload my ID to be kept forever by the local
corner shop when I pop in for alcohol. I just flash it at the counter. If they banned smart phones for children and you had to show ID in a shop to buy one I wouldn’t mind, but it’s not.
@Keir_Starmer Basically forcing every adult that wants to keep connecting with other on social media to either upload ID or become more isolated. I live alone. The older I get the less family I will have and you are now cutting off a part of my community.
@PolitlcsUK Now. I would go for this. Like showing ID buying a smart phone in a shop, the same as buying wine. I will not, however, be uploading any ID to social media apps to continue using them. I suppose it’s a good way to get me off the apps, but if they come for social media, what next.
@Birduder344@KellySotherton Yep. I flew back from Croatia this week with British Airways. Randomly assigned 12C at check in which ended up being the emergency exit row with extra leg room.
@KellySotherton@income4017 Paying for a seat allocation is a con. I’ll always take my chances and check in as soon as it opens. I don’t think I’ve ever paid for a seat allocation but then I’m not too bothered by sitting at the back, thankfully never had a long haul middle seat 🤞
@NadiaWhittomeMP And this is the reason after voting for them for over 20 years, that I can no longer vote Lib Dem. Gutted to see my MP in this list. And yes, I will be writing to him.
@Londonsnow251@NicholasLissack@WestMidRailway That means that I could get on a train at Waterloo wanting to travel to Bournemouth but only paying for the ticket to Winchester. Of course I would immediately rectify the fault if my ticket was checked after Winchester and I hadn’t noticed my error. Silly Billy!
@MrBrightside319@NicholasLissack@horrifiedofhh@WestMidRailway I’ve had a network railcard for years. I know my next one expires in December at some point. As it gets closer to the time I will pay significantly more attention to the expiration date so I don’t buy a ticket without it being valid. That is my responsibility.
@SplatTeamMom@ThePosieParker I don’t know if Red is non-binary or not and while I think that non-binary people are people who think they are so boring they have to make something up about themselves the original post was criticising him for being lame for “seems to have adopted sisters look”.
@emmafildes I remember at last years Wimbledon the number of celebrities and influencers who start posting about going to their first Wimbledon and thanking brands while I, who has watched tennis since Graf, couldn’t get a ticket.
