The only difference is that we excuse men’s behavior, and shame women for not carrying it.
Love Island for me is a live study in sexual economics of hetero dynamics; how bodies, race, skin tone, personality, trauma, insecurities, fears and attractiveness interact and are weaponised in competition, and how the public’s voting choices reveal our biases and pecking order.

it *is* misogynistic to think of women as lesser than other women if they fall in love and get married and have kids btw. it’s important that you know this. and don’t use the “but some women want careers” argument cause plenty of career women are happily married and have kids
