Another cricket team that deserves similar support from India is Nepal. It has shown remarkable fighting spirit in the match against England in T20 World. Though Nepal is also receiving support from India, such as training facilities and matches with Indian domestic teams, it is not at the same scale as Afghanistan. ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಇದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾದ 8 ಲಕ್ಷ ಚಿಲ್ಲರೆ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ 2ಲಕ್ಷದ ಆಸುಪಾಸು ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗಿವೆ. ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥ ನೋಂದಣಿಯಾಗದ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಅನಧಿಕೃತ , ಕಾನೂನಿನಂತೆ ಇವುಗಳು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರದ ಪಾಲಾಗಲಿವೆ.

ಯಾವುದೇ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ನೋಂದಣಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಕ್ಫ್ ಟ್ರಿಬ್ಯೂನಲ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಆ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಕ್ಕು ಸಾಧಿಸಬಹುದಷ್ಟೆ , ಅದೂ ಸರಿಯಾದ ದಾಖಲೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ.

ಓಲೈಕೆ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಂತಾದ ಸೆಕ್ಯುಲರ್ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಬುಡಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿಯೇ ಬಿಸಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಓಟಿಗಾಗಿ ದೇಶದ ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಿಗೆ ಮೂರುನಾಮ ಎಳೆಯುವ ದುರ್ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಬಹಿರಂಗಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

All 3 cases are from Tamil Nadu.

1) Madras High Court permitted lighting the Karthigai Deepam lamp at Deepathoon, the ancient stone lamp-pillar on Thiruparankundram hill in Madurai.

Court clearly said that site lies on land belonging to the Subramaniya Swamy Temple and not on Dargah land. But DMK govt in Tamil Nadu did not follow the order and move to Supreme Court against the Madras HC order.

2) A month ago, in N. Panjampatti village in Dindigul district, Christians objected to and opposed Hindus conducting annadhanam (food donation) on a govt-owned public ground during Kaliyamman Temple's kumbabishekam. Why? They claimed that the public ground is traditionally used for their Easter events.

After that, the Madras High Court intervened, ruling that public ground cannot be monopolized by one community. It should be available for use by all communities or none. The Court allowed the Hindu event. And, Christians blocked roads and protested against the High Court order.

3) In V Kalathur village, Muslims have been objecting to Hindu temples processions since 2012, terming them as sins.

In 2021, Madras High Court said that "Just because one religion dominates a locality, it doesn't mean other religion's processions can't pass through that area". The court allowed Hindu temples processions.

No one gave lectures about Secularism in any of these 3 cases.

There is only one movie in the history of Indian cinema that I know of which has displayed the sheer scale in which we connect with our Devtas. #Kantara and #KantaraChapter1 are truly a game changer when it comes to displaying our culture not just on a surface level, but what actually lives inside us.

Before this movie, people were quite hesitant to accept it, but this movie has let us embrace our regional ethos without being labelled as superstition.

This is the change that Kantara has brought, and for that I will appreciate Rishab Shetty.
