Notice: Parent-Teacher conferences will be on Thurs, Mar 21 & Mon, Mar 25 (4-7 p.m.). Students are encouraged to attend conferences with their parents. Teachers enjoy the opportunity to encourage students and talk through how they can help them to achieve their best in school.

Mon, Mar 4 will start the kickoff of A Serving of Sunshine’s Pop Tab Wars! The winning Advisory class will earn donuts & juice. All you need to do is collect the tabs from cans. You will receive 1 point for every regular sized tab. The drive ends on March 15!
On Mon, Feb 11, 9 Spectrum students performed solos at the MSHSL Solo & Ensemble contest at Holy Family Catholic High School. 6 scored “Superior” ratings (the highest rating attainable), and 3 scored “Excellent” ratings (the second highest rating). Students, we're proud of you!

Tomorrow is the deadline to donate items for A Serving of Sunshine's drive for local children's hospitals. The items on the list include games, books, snacks, personal hygiene, & more. All items donated must be new. A box can be found outside of Mrs. Chrest's door (Rm 103).
Staff Recognition: Ms. Lockrem. The MS counselor & District Assessment Coordinator, she does an amazing job working with students and staff every day for their success. A huge asset to the MS principal and Dean of Students. we are super proud to have her as a part of our staff!
CaSH Information Night takes place this evening beginning at 6:00 PM in the high school gymnasium. Anyone is welcome to attend. Attendance is required for students who will register for CaSH classes for the first time in 2019-20.
C@SH Info Night is on Mon, Feb 11 at 6PM. Students who are newly qualified for C@SH classes will receive an email invitation to this meeting. Students who will be registering for college-level classes for the first time in 2019-2020 are required to attend. Everyone is welcome.
This week we celebrate National School Counseling week by honoring our Counselors, Ms. Matheson, Mrs. Lockrem, and Mrs. Sitron! Our school counselors do so much for our school Stop in and thank your school counselor for all they do for you.
Spectrum will be closing at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon. All buses will be running their regular routes beginning at 1:00 p.m. All after school activities are cancelled. Please plan accordingly.
A Serving of Sunshine is looking to brighten the days of children and their families at local children's hospitals through a donation drive. All items donated must be new. A box can be found outside of Mrs. Chrest's door (Room 103) to drop your items. The drive ends Feb 22.
