After 3–4 minutes of trying, the seats are either gone or already in waiting.
Is this just a technical failure of the railway system, or is there something else going on?

Indian Railway ticket booking is a nightmare.

Try to book ticket in rush - high load, random logout, payment error, session expired, and suddenly all tickets are GONE in 2 mins.

How is IRCTC still not able to handle peak load in 2026?

I tried booking tickets this morning and the message "High load, please try after sometime" kept popping up. Genuine passengers are unable to book tickets in IRCTC these days. Talkal is a nightmare. No idea what the govt is doing.

Very poor and frustrating experience with IRCTC. 😡

For the last 3 days, I have been planning and waiting to book my festival travel ticket.

Finally, when the booking window comes, after selecting the train and entering all passenger details, the system simply says:

“Unable to process request.”

All that waiting for nothing because of a system glitch.

Is this Digital India? 🇮🇳

Festival travel is predictable. IRCTC should be prepared for the rush instead of making passengers suffer at the most critical moment.
