Keshav Nagar - Kharadi bridge is finally inaugurated!🎉
This bridge took 9 years from announcement to completion, which shows how competent our PMC is. Also, look carefully at the quality of the surface. Pathetic is the word. And who comes to inaugurate this tiny bridge? An MP! Can we not just build something and open it for the public as fast as we can instead of having these ceremonies? I’m pretty sure an MP is not needed for this.
Anyways, congratulations people!!
PUNE’S CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE TO SILENCE. Another day, another horrifying report. This time, a 7-year-old girl in Pune’s Camp area was targeted by the very person meant to guide her—her teacher. While the police have taken action, the staggering 4,660 pending cases in Pune tell us that systemic change is long overdue.
We cannot leave safety solely to the authorities. It is time for us as a society to watch, listen, and speak up.
🛡️ JOIN THE WAR ON PERVERTS: Pune Times Mirror is standing with you. If you see something, say something. We will bridge the gap between you and the police.
Choose safety over silence.

THIS IS HISTORICAL STUFF FOLKS! 🇮🇳🥹

Pune isn’t “facing traffic”—it’s losing traffic sense. And that’s far more dangerous.
We’ve gone from a city known for discipline to one where:
• Signals are “suggestions”
• Wrong-side driving is normalised
• Footpaths are parking lots
• Honking replaces patience
This isn’t infrastructure failure alone. It’s a collapse of civic behaviour.
Every rider jumping a signal saves 30 seconds…
…and costs the city hours in chaos.
Every car on the wrong side says: “My time matters more than yours.”
And slowly, that becomes the culture.
No amount of flyovers will fix this.
No smart city tech will solve this.
Because this is not a road problem.
It’s a mindset problem.
Pune doesn’t need just better roads.
It needs better discipline.
👉 Enforce rules strictly
👉 Penalise consistently
👉 Educate relentlessly
But most importantly—
👉 नागरिकों को खुद बदलना होगा
👉 नागरिकांनी स्वतः बदलायला हवे
A great city isn’t built by projects alone.
It’s built by the behaviour of its people.
Right now, Pune is at a tipping point.
We either restore order…
Or accept chaos as our identity.
