"The ability to change one's mind is probably a key characteristic of the successful investor. Dogmatic and rigid personalities rarely, if ever, succeed in the markets. The markets are a dynamic process, and sustained investment success requires the ability to modify and even change strategies as markets evolve." ~ Jack D. Schwager

India has no shortage of luxury.
There are ₹10 crore apartments, supercars, private clubs and extraordinary wealth. The problem is not that India cannot create wealth.
It is that too few people have a realistic path to creating it.
Consider a brilliant engineer earning ₹4–5 lakh a month, an exceptional salary in India. The apartment he aspires to own may cost ₹7 crore. He can participate in the economy that creates wealth while remaining mathematically distant from owning much of it.
A salary can make you comfortable. Serious wealth usually requires ownership.
And ownership requires risk.
But risk appetite is itself partly a luxury. It is easier to spend three years building a company when failure means returning to a comfortable home than when it threatens your family’s financial security.
Then there is network.
Stanford, MIT, UCLA, and Berkeley do more than educate. They surround ambitious people with future founders, investors, professors and alumni. Institutions like Y Combinator compress decades of entrepreneurial knowledge into networks young founders can access.
India has extraordinary talent, but much less of this machinery.
Often our brightest students must first leave India, enter these networks abroad, learn how companies are built, accumulate capital and connections, and then return.
It is not much of a meritocracy if you first need access to the meritocracy.
Software is perhaps the exception. A brilliant programmer does not need inherited land, factories or distribution. He needs a laptop.
But then comes another irony: if the Indian market cannot support his ambition, he builds for America, forcing a first-time founder to understand customers 10,000 kilometres away.
India therefore does not need fewer rich people. It needs far more.
More angel capital. More YC-like institutions. More founders helping universities. More alumni funding students. More permission to fail. More Indian companies succeeding spectacularly and recycling their wealth, talent and knowledge into the next generation.
The goal should not be to make the penthouse cheaper.
It should be to build millions more staircases to reach it.
Select Smallcaps where
'Growth is Strong' &
'Momentum is Building'!
Over the weekend I studied a bunch of smallcaps & these 24 stood out for their 3 yr growth numbers, return ratios, manageable debt & recent price strength.
Yes in some valuations do look stretched/expensive, but worth studying further!

We cancelled an expensive sedan that was my gift to Biwi Saheba and instead went for a honeymoon covering 15 countries in EU.
Best decision of our life.
Traveling gives you exposure and knowledge that helped in our career. Our net-worth is around 50X Vs when we made that decision 15 years ago.
Remember “well read, well travelled”?
That’s a saying about sophisticated folks. Not that “he drives a Fortuner like Sarpanch Ji”.
Btw later I gifted a BMW sport car to Wife and my first car was FJ Cruiser.
Top 10 or not, it all comes down to this.
The FINAL match of PTL Open 1 kicks off at 6PM ET. 🏆
Who will secure one of the four spots in the Grand Final? And who will have to fight for another shot in Open 2?
Only time will tell. 👀
Prop firm math is actually broken 😂
LucidFlex 50K No DLL = $105 with CODE FRED.
Spend $49,875 and that gets you:
475 evals.
If just 25 of those 475 eventually reach one $2,000 payout:
$50,000 payouts
$49,875 spent
+$125 profit
That means only around 5.3% need to convert to one max payout to break even.
Obviously real results depend on pass rate, funded survival and your edge.
But the asymmetry is still ridiculous 😂
if you really WANT to make trading work, you’ll eventually figure it out
went in mass amounts of CC debt and had multiples times where my bank account went negative
it’s never over until you quit 🤞
Would lose a hundred times over, if I knew I could still make it back.
-₹69 Lakhs in a couple of days, i hated the indian markets. (-75,000$ yes call me a loser😉)
Didn’t break me.
Maybe I just lost my connection to money somewhere along the way.
still looked at the mountains like nothing happened.
still woke up the next morning.
still traded.
still here.
I don’t know where this cycle ends.
Maybe that’s the problem.
Maybe that’s also what keeps me going.
I made it by myself.
I lost it by myself.
I’ll make it back by myself.
Back to zero.
Back to work.
