The core purpose of education should be to connect children with every culture, not to impose a one-sided curriculum or agenda on young minds.
​Today, while looking at my daughter's Class 6 English textbook, "Longman Impression (Revised Edition)" (Sushila Birla Girls' School, Kolkata), a serious and glaring bias came to light.
​The book features chapters like 'Festival of Eid' and 'The Bishop’s Candlesticks'—teaching these doesn't bother me personally, as children should learn about literature and various subjects. However, what is shocking is that this entire book has no mention whatsoever of our own culture, Hindu festivals, or rich heritage!
​My direct question to the publishers and education authorities:
🔹 Why this selective inclusion and one-sided tilt?
🔹 Will our own roots and traditions be completely erased from the curriculum in the name of 'inclusivity'?
​Children can only learn to respect diversity when they are taught about all cultures and heritages with an equal and balanced perspective.

Hey @_PVRCinemas @INOXMovies, why are your box office counters forcing unfair bundling practices on moviegoers? 😡
​I just went to buy 6 tickets together. The actual price of the ticket on @bookmyshow was ₹270 each.
​However, your counter staff forced a "mandatory" F&B coupon bundle on me without my consent. They charged me ₹370 each for 3 of the tickets and ₹270 each for the other 3. When I questioned why I was being overcharged by ₹100 per ticket for half the bundle, the staff claimed it was a "free food coupon" included with it.
​Let's do the math here: If I am paying ₹100 extra per ticket, IT IS NOT FREE. You are actively forcing customers to buy food coupons at a higher price just to get a movie ticket, which completely violates unfair trade practices.
​Why is the price at your physical box office higher than standard online aggregators just so you can inflate your food sales? This is blatant extortion at the counter.
​Please look into this hidden scam immediately. I want an explanation for why this bundling is being forced on paying customers.

Not only this they are cheating customer by charging more for for large cheese popcorn. Normal rate for for large cheese popcorn is Rs.785 but they charge me Rs. 835. Initially they ask me to pay Rs 1185 but when I say why they reduce it to Rs 835 which is still more . Requesting all authorities to take severe action against @_PVRCinemas

उसने नकली टीटीई बनकर यात्रियों से टिकट मांगना शुरू कर दिया

वह लोगों से टिकट न होने के बहाने पैसे वसूल रहा है...वीडियो में वह अलग-अलग यात्रियों के पास जाकर उनसे टिकट मांगता है और जिसके पास टिकट नहीं होता, उससे 200 से 500 रुपये तक ले लेता है

अंत में, वह एक लड़के को रोकता है, लेकिन वह लड़का उसे चकमा देकर वहां से भाग जाता है

अंत में, वह लड़का आधे घंटे में 1200 रुपये कमाने का दावा करता है और दर्शकों से पूछता है कि एक असली टीटी एक दिन में कितने पैसे कमाता होगा

वो कहता है जब नकली टीटी बनकर मैं 1200 रु आधे घण्टे में कमा सकता हूँ तो फिर असली टीटी कितना कमाता होगा ?

मुझे लगता है अब इस लड़के पर उल्टा FIR होगी और ये जेल जाएगा और सिस्टम नही सुधरेगा.

एक यात्री से पानी की बोतल के ₹20 वसूले गए। जब यात्री ने बिल मांगा और 139/RailOne ऐप पर शिकायत दर्ज कराने के लिए वीडियो रिकॉर्ड करना शुरू किया, तो स्टॉल के कई कर्मचारी उसके पास आ गए और उसे घेरकर मारने-पीटने की कोशिश करने लगे।

क्या अब यात्रियों को सही कीमत पूछने और शिकायत करने का भी अधिकार नहीं है?

ओवरचार्जिंग करना एक अपराध है, लेकिन शिकायत करने वाले यात्री को डराना-धमकाना और उस पर हमला करना उससे भी ज्यादा गंभीर मामला है।

यह घटना आसनसोल जंक्शन के प्लेटफॉर्म 3-4 की बताई जा रही है। CCTV फुटेज की जांच कर दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए।
