KISIP2 inspected Majengo, Salama, & Mjini upgrades with CPCT, NPCT, Consultants, Contractor & Community. Focus: roads, drainage, water, sanitation to boost access, hygiene, water supply, well-being & prosperity. Meru County supports urban projects to enhance life quality.

We are Determined to restore the dignity of Meru people. Our focus in the next 2 ½ years is to make Meru a center of investment and job creation.

The FLLoCA Team was led by Mr. @PeterOdhengo, the National Programme Coordinator, alongside Mr. @murathakinuthia from the World Bank.

The county team was led by the CECM for Water, Irrigation, Environment, Natural Resources, and Climate Change, Eng. @Jackmuthamia.

Today, I engaged with the Financing Locally Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) Team to discuss the progress of the FLLoCA Programme in Meru County, which aims to empower local communities.

and implement locally led climate initiatives. Through community-driven solutions, FLLoCA enhances the capacity of local communities to adapt to changing climate conditions, mitigate environmental challenges, and build sustainable livelihoods.

The issuance of over 10,000 title deeds

It was a moment of joy and celebration as the people of Meru County turned out in large numbers to warmly welcome H.E. the President Dr. William Ruto during his tour of duty to the Mt. Kenya Region.

A team of epidemiologists from the Ministry of Health (MOH) visited County Director of Health, Dr. Koome Muthuri, to follow up on active Tuberculosis (TB) case finding. They discussed a planned five-day TB outreach program in the Igembe region.

I later joined His Excellency Meru Governor Rev. Mutuma M'Ethingia, esteemed Members of Parliamen, honorable Members of the County Assembly (MCAs), and distinguished former elected leaders for an evening engagement as we prepare to host His Excellency President Dr @WilliamsRuto in Meru County for a development tour.

This meeting highlights our unity and collective dedication to ensuring that the development agenda for Meru County remains a paramount priority, significantly contributing to the advancement of our nation’s economy, alongside other regions.
