@Cody4435073786@millerlogan32@MLS@MNUFC It deflected off a Minnesota player after that. The minute it touches a player (whether intentionally playing the ball or not) the offside line is recalculated at that point. cant say he’s off without better angles but your screenshot isn’t of the actual decision
@MetroBullsTV@MLSMoves Nothing stops every game being on TV. Apple deal is not exclusive. You need to accept networks don’t care about MLS. Unless you want MLS to pay them for airtime, I don’t know what you want the league to do to get more games on TV.
Best hope is for a weekly spotlight game
@MetroBullsTV@MLSMoves Cable is a paywall and even if you pay for cable, you may not be able to watch your team. And that’s when you’re at home. If you’re traveling you’re almost guaranteed not able to watch it. Every game in MLS is now watchable anywhere in the world. High percentage completely free.
@ComeOnYouFCC Trading a CB makes sense. Trading 2, especially after the year we had, is insane. And I think if we were smart it’d be Miles to San Diego. He’s higher paid and likely worth a million in GAM himself.
@GF36513591 @ComeOnYouFCC Overpay the player? Absolutely. Overpay the team? No. The team has no leverage because they’ve told the player he isn’t in their plans and is free at the end of the season. Since the player has to agree as well, we only need a reasonable offer for the team
@HangoverHobbies @fccincinnati You’re thinking of the allocation order. The allocation order was dissolved last year and dealt with US men’s players or transfers out of MLS over 500k. The re-entry draft still exists but is for people that were active in MLS.
@scare_it24@TaylorTwellman Money and consistency. That technology is extremely expensive. EPL can afford it because they’re the largest league in the world. Consistency because we have teams that share stadiums. I don’t think they could install it in those stadiums
Our Annual Thanksgiving Drive was a huge success! We provided 150 families with hearty meals, 750 lbs of potatoes, 1,650 canned goods & $3,000 worth of gift cards for turkey/ham. Special thanks to our Projetechers, Mike Berry, and all team members who helped make this possible.
@LaurelPfahler I wonder if this leads to future PKs being taken away from supporter section. Goalie comes up with a big save to win so the players are going to swarm the keeper. I think we went too far but seems like you’d want to avoid having an opposing team celebrate in front of supporters
@danisolana5 @RiverCity_show@TaylorTwellman@MLS None of your points describe why the playoffs are a better measurement of a team. I agree 1 would be ideal but you’re not playing every team in the playoffs. And travel is more of an issue in the playoffs where some teams are home the entire time and others are always on the road
@danisolana5 @RiverCity_show@TaylorTwellman@MLS Your argument is that the two conferences are so different in quality that continuously getting points across 34 matches isn’t a good measurement. How is playing 4 matches with only 1 game against the other conference a better measurement for best team?
@TootyKorn2 @TaylorTwellman Ignore the rules, no team outside of Saudi Arabia would pay anywhere near that amount for him. Last year he was making 56 million in salary (ignoring endorsements). He’s now making 3X that. MLS rules need changing but we’ll never compete with oil money
@Morgan_Hughes@ben_ferree Agreed. Money is the only logical motivator for someone to want to play in Saudi Arabia. If this was Europe and he wanted to play in a top league I’d feel differently. It’s good for us but I’m disappointed for the league. Talented guy
