TSP with @KaungMi11815587 :filter out the best one and develop it into a more preferred idea. We will refrain from copying, editing, and pasting things and always ensure that the design fits the condition of the site location and cultural background. (/end) #BE904#BE904_5#S1W04
TSP with @KaungMi11815587 : or case study, we will try to come up with our own creative ideas first and only after that analyze the case study to develop and upgrade our idea and design. We will generate as many ideas as possible, (2/) #BE904#BE904_5#S1W04
TSP with @KaungMi11815587 :As future architects, our implication is to try to engage more with the clients or end users and make sure to satisfy their needs. We conclude that in our next project, instead of relying too much on precedent study (1/)#BE904#BE904_5#S1W04
True.Even if we think it is originated from us it could still resemble to the design of other architect . So I feel like it is important to keep that in mind #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W04
One important thing I learnt was about pragmatic acceptance and intellectual property, our ideas that we get may be from somewhere that we heard/saw subconsciously even if we may not remember it. This may have already been done by someone long ago #be904#be904_5#S1W04#BE904R1
Same I feel like I hv learnt new word like pragmatic acceptance and radical engagement which I want to do further research #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W04

R2: I really enjoyed this week's lecture especially about the part of forensic architects and what they do really caught my attention as I found the whole concept very fascinating and I went to research more about them
R1 : The importance of knowing the answer to the question is important “Are we doing good architecture work to be famous or to affect some changes in people’s life?”
Everything has its purpose so do we.
We need to know what we are working for. (1/)#BE904#BE904_5#BE904R1#S1W04
R2I rlly enjoy this lecture cuz I feel like it is more interesting to know that taking inspiration from case study is not always good cuz architectural is site specific n we shd mainly focus on how they solve certain problem not how they design #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W04
R1 One thing I learnt from today lecture is not to get easily convince by others and be stable n ready to explain our own version of true with facts. #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W04
Yeahh architecture is highly subjective. Even though one might think his or her design is perfect, others can still spot some flaws from that since they hv diff likes n dislikes #BE904#BE904_5#S1W03
For this lesson, the most important thing I learnt was that every design or building is unique. when looking at a structure, it may make you feel feeling (A) but might make others feel feeling (B, C, D), and neither one of us is wrong. everyone feels and see things differently.
True. Architecture is highly cooperative n it is a part of social production. So that we can become more flexible and learn from each other which can help us to come up with creative solutions. #BE904#BE904_5#S1W03
The most important thing i learnt today is the architecture is very collaborative. A building simply can’t be designed and built by a single individual. Most if not all the time, only 1 person is ever given the credit… (1/) #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W03
I agree. Aesthetics are important, however it’s not the most important aspect of design. Buildings should always be considerate of the people using them and functionality. #be904#S1W03
R/2It is interesting to know that by studying failure and error on respective projects can help us to discover solutions for problems. #BE904#BE904_5#BE904R2#S1W03
R/1One things I learnt from today lesson is that architecture is not all about aesthetics and appearance. It is important to understand the essence of the place n create a building that resonates with the culture and environment of the place #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W03
@ZhengpingLiow It is smth that gives someone an idea about what to do or create n I feel like almost everything can inspire us even nature like sky or rain drops. It is highly subjective n depends on how u view them n how u manipulate them in respective areas.
I am a bit confused tbh. We can take inspiration from other works but it’s still a crime to just copy n paste n assume that it is yours, right? #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W02
… some of us just copy, paste, and edit. Self-honesty is key.
The other thing I learnt is the differences between precedent studies and case studies.
Precedent/case studies link the past to the future trajectory. Furthermore, … (2/)
#BE904#BE904_5#BE904R1#S1W02
I couldn’t agree anymore. We need to have self honesty n the reason why we use case study is just to find things that can be improved not to just copy n paste . #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W02
R1: I learnt that we cannot just copy and paste designs from precedent & case studies into our own work. we have to aim to understand the design and its underlying principles, so that we can learn and improve our design decisions #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W02
I found that it is rlly interesting to know that every design have their own circumstances which might not be quite relevant for current century. So it is important to make good use of them #be904#be904_5#be904R1#S1W02
