I have bided my time.. letting others ask off for their days and request their dates off.

I knew my time was going to come.

It was when @orbitalband and @crystalmethod announced their #Vegas97 show that I had to make my move and book the plane/hotel. (1/?)

I found out via email at 2:55pm on Sep 20 that the show had been cancelled. It was like a punch to the gut, but I knew that it was beyond my control. Part of me feels silly for being so giddy, and part of me is just so bummed that I’m missing such a cool event. (3/4?)
