It has been a year since I started Cambly! The number of lessons I took has reached 247 and total hours have reached 208 hours. I'm proud of keeping lessons so far.

When I'm reading a book in English and come across words that are unfamiliar to me, I wish there was only one possible meaning for them. If this were the case, reading English would become more efficient. I hope Amazon Kindle will implement this using AI.

Another word like this is 'castle.' It is pronounced as 'カスル' (kasuru), but I initially remembered it as 'キャッスル' (kyassuru). As a result, it took me a long time to understand when I first encountered the word 'castle.'

Yesterday, I encountered the word 'Burma,' which is the name of a country. This word is pronounced as 'バウマ' (bauma). So, I couldn't understand it at all when I first encountered it. In Japanese, it's pronounced as 'ビルマ' (biruma).
