Why are voices calling for an end to the brutal occupation and oppression of Palestinians being cancelled?

The two Israeli directors of NAZA face calls for their citizenship to be revoked. Macklemore has been dropped from the remaining dates of Ed Sheeran’s tour after speaking up for Palestine.

Speaking out against the ethnic cleansing, occupation and alleged war crimes inflicted on Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank should not be silenced. It should be heard and addressed.

Opposition to oppression cannot be selective.

Yet when it comes to Palestinians, it seems too often to be fair game to silence those who speak up.

How is it “patronising” to say: stop building settlements on Palestinian land?

The West Bank is occupied Palestinian territory under international law. The E1 expansion violates that law.

But let me guess, you have no appetite for international law, just as you have no appetite for a two-state solution.

Your claim that the “Land of Israel” includes the West Bank says it all.

No UK-based business, charity or financial institution should be allowed to support, facilitate or profit from illegal settlement expansion.
