@FTG8286@Kylestevie1@gpelvin Yep, didn’t go myself because i couldn’t get a ticket for less than 500 quid and it’s so hard to justify spending thousands of pounds to go to America and not even get to go to the games
@theronrockstone@ForsythSir@gpelvin No games at a World Cup are regular games though. That was infantinos reasoning why ticket prices are so high. It is largely FIFA’s fault but the fact Americans pay in the region of 500 quid for games, allows fifa to justify the prices.
@ForsythSir@gpelvin They set the prices due to American consumers typically spending that much on sporting events. So now Scot’s need to pay more even though the yanks aren’t interested
@Kylestevie1@gpelvin About 30k Scots going over approximately. Many without tickets. Selling the tickets isn’t a problem it’s the price. Many other Scots would have gone if we had got tickets as well
@thecappielowkid If Haiti are as good on the counter as they look having a midfielder who is just discaplined and won’t venture forward might be needed. Don’t think Mctominay or Christie do that so probably Ferguson despite being a worse player than Christie will start
@NealGardner_ Teams like belguim and the Netherlands are still better than say an Ecuador. Depay is seen as the weak spot Netherlands but if he played for Ecuador they’d be pinning all attacking hope on him
