Training two million people, stuffing restaurants with more tech, leaning harder into chicken and drinks, and using data from 220 million loyalty members is not a small tweak. Arch IQ adding an extra $100k cash flow per store would be huge if they actually pull it off. The hand breaded chicken push is the part that should make Chick fil A pay attention. The question is whether the experience on the ground actually improves or if we just get fancier screens and the same inconsistent food and service.

Rubio has been doing the job on an acting basis since May 2025, after Michael Waltz left. He already is secretary of state. Now both titles are permanent.

He is only the second person in U.S. history to hold those two posts at the same time. Henry Kissinger did it in the 1970s.

Rubio will keep running the State Department and the National Security Council. He stays the direct line to the president on war, intel, and diplomacy.
