I realize now how frustrating it is to be in a union, I was part of the union that protects public workers, but now, because I asked to help out at work in a supervisor position.. I’m making my friends lives much easier, but I’m no longer part of the union.

Ultimately I’m fine with that, I still support the union and I can do good work, by making our store run properly, we aren’t running out of stock and food items at the same level, (having to ask 3-4 times if a custie wants something else because we don’t have it was hurting)…

@MrDevinHunter Ohhhhh the Tithe, Valiant, and Ironside series from Holly Black. The appearance of those characters in her Cruel Prince series makes me smile as an adult. Also Silverwing series is still of my favs as well.

@Shivainthestars I feel this. Out of 8 grandkids, between 23 and 33, I’m the only one with kids right now. Both my sibs have no intention on having kiddos, and maybe 2 of my cousins have considered it. We have few friends with them as well. 1/2
