@Wm_Sadler Sorry for your loss, sir. My wife, Sasha, passed 15 years ago, not long after her 40th birthday. I offer you my solidarity in your time of grieving over Marni. Be kind to yourself. Best wishes from Worcester, England.
@EnglandRugby@RFU "We need to modernise our sport and inspire the younger generation."
"I couldn't agree more - let's get a bloke who stopped playing in 1982 to run it."
@JamieEPaul1@aaronisntherern Why do the new generation of F1 "fans" act like bratty little children? Can you imagine fans in the 1980s making smarmy, pointless comments like this? Boils my piss.
@dieworkwear Sorry, Derek, but the jolly chap on the right is Stephen Fry, one of Britain's "National Treasures" - actor, author, comedian, intellectual and downright lovely fellow. Quite frankly, he can wear what he damn well likes.
@Alexrinsley @mickyred79@Peston What you've done there, Chicken Little, is put the worst possible outcomes of an economic policy in the form of an opinion. We've had over a decade of businesses dictating how our economy is run and it was a disaster.
@Alexrinsley @mickyred79@Peston Every policy adversely affects someone. You can raise a tax or decrease it, increase investment or reduce it. Someone is always going to benefit and others not. That businesses and farmers are moaning suggests Labour policy is benefitting the person in the street for a change.
@donmcgowan@SkyNews It's probably because Farage, Badenoch et al are spaffing out the usual self-promoting nonsense, whereas the Labour and Lib-Dem MPs are just quietly getting on with their jobs.
@NoVATonschools@BethRigby No they haven't because they need to raise money from somewhere without borrowing heavily, so tax is the next best thing. Balancing migrant workers vs UK workers is a long standing problem but as Brexit has shown, "less foreigners" is not the answer.
@NoVATonschools@BethRigby Reducing taxes invariably increases inflation; reducing immigration invariably reduces productivity, so where is your growth going to come from?
@gloucesterrugby I saw Skiv in Morrisons Abbeydale the other week - he was holding a bag of frozen chips. I said the new tactic was working well and he should stick with it - glad he took my advice!
