“Wonwoo, I figured it’s time we’re honest with each other, so I might as well tell you…” Junhui sighed, holding his Pride flag shakingly. “I’m gay.”
“Okay.”
“You’re okay with that?”
“Jun.” Wonwoo put down the dish he was washing, held both of Junhui’s hands. “We’re married.”

@Nillyri_Yabbay Hi, before you come at me. I've understood the discourse and discussed with another kr-fans. Please take your time to read this conversation. https://t.co/l0IK9xY7x6
I finished reading that and I get your points, especially about the voting process and the KR hashtag being mainly for KR fans.
My comment wasn’t about restricting Jun’s lyrics anyway. It was just my first reaction when I saw the hashtag I didn’t immediately think of Jun, and that’s where the concern came from.
I think a lot of intl fans are just looking at it from a recognizability perspective. We worry about whether people will instantly associate it with Jun. Doesn’t mean KR fans are wrong, we’re just trying to discuss over a different point of view.
@apa_huu610 I am trying to see both perspective and I understand the kr fans pov as well as the intl fans. The protest may be unpleasant but we came from a place of worry.
Thank you for sparing your time. Rest assured, we all came from the same place, to support Jun endlessly.
@apa_huu610 I’m not one to decide but maybe they can come up with a different hashtag for intl fans. I guess like you said earlier, what we want is for huihui to be one (using the same hashtag). The cultural difference and context was not expected.
I was being sarcastic about my previous tweet, pointing out that random use of word in lyrics aren’t always recognizable.
Gemini song is recognizable, but when translated to english using “Orbit” and “Starlight” we’re afraid that it might refer to another member and create a different fanwar altogether.
(I am speaking from International fans perspective and worry, if you want to have a civil discussion)
Their worry is valid and I understand where it came from. But if the kr fans associate that to Jun (which I am not aware of, I am not Korean) then it is your right as well.
@zelas9 I don’t think most intl fans meant any harm either 🥲 A lot of it came from worry, just from a different perspective.
I hope things calm down soon ❤️ It’d be nice if everyone could focus on celebrating Jun again, since that’s what we’re all here for in the first place.

That’s fair. I think the concern from intl fans mostly came from worry rather than trying to criticize the hashtag itself. A lot of us were just worried about possible confusion or getting dragged by other fandoms, since we don’t always have the same cultural context as KR fans.
But if there’s a clear reason behind the choice and KR fans immediately associate it with Jun, then I understand it better now.
At the end of the day, we’re all here because we love and want to celebrate Jun, so I don’t think anyone’s intentions were bad.
