Tee Kai Wun:
"I think everyone knows that Wei Chong and I have been together for quite a few years, so there are bound to be emotions involved. But if the coach wants us to try something better for Malaysia and for everyone, we have to give it a go first."

A good reminder that what they achieved wasnโt just pure luck, but also a testament to their strong mentality and resilience.

Eogene Ewe's father posted a heartfelt message on Threads after the match in #PMM2026 (translated):
I am very proud of you in yesterday's match.
It's not because of how many points you got or the fact that you almost advanced to the next round...
Wei Chong takes another U-turn on his surgery
"There will be no surgery for now. We are still trying maintenance treatment and therapy first," said Herry,
Wei Chong has been advised by his doctor to continue with therapy for his injured right knee, and surgery is only the last option, said national men's doubles head coach Herry IP.
In the meantime, Herry has not ruled out the possibility of Kai Wun forming a scratch partnership to keep him in competitive mode until Wei Chong recovers.
"There are plans (for Kai Wun) moving forward, but we are still waiting for further developments," added Herry.

Please don't point fingers at Aaron & Wooi Yik or Wooi Yik & Izzuddin for our defeat. Let's be realistic. Our total dependence on the 2MD and 1MS formula is not and will never be sustainable if we want to bring back the Cup. Badminton lovers all know that.
6th Quarterfinals finish since we became Champion in 1992.
The 34-year wait is extended. We put so much highlight on MS3 as the 'key', but today we couldn't even manage to reach the key inside of our pocket.

Pang Ron ๐ฅฒ, I will remember Sudirman Cup 2021.
After 10 incredible years, itโs time for me to close this chapter with BAM.
Walking into this journey a decade ago, I was just a young player with big dreams and endless hunger to improve. Along the way, BAM became more than just a place I trained - it became a home that shaped me into who I am today, both on and off the court.
There were highs that felt unforgettable, and lows that tested everything in me. Every early morning training, every tough loss, every small victory - all of it built the person Iโve become today. The lessons, discipline, and resilience Iโve gained here will stay with me for life.
Iโm deeply grateful to all the coaches, @isnmalaysia Isn staff, teammates, BAM staff, and everyone behind the scenes who have supported and believed in me throughout this journey. Thank you for your guidance, your patience, and for pushing me to be better every single day.
This isnโt a goodbye to badminton - just the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Iโm excited for whatโs ahead and ready to take on new challenges with everything Iโve learned.
Thank you, @ba_malaysia , for the past 10 years. Always grateful. - Hoo Pang Ron
Only two years ago, we were close to having two MS players together in the Top 10, and set to have both lead our Thomas Cup campaigns. Within a year, we lost both to long-term injuries. Prior to injuries, one was about to break back into Top 5; the other was on his way to Top 10.
