Kept seeing Bunmaska [https://t.co/yy6m1oLAIo] on my feed and had to check it out. It's a drop-in Electron alternative using Bun + system WebKit instead of bundling full Chromium. Dropping binary downloads from ~150MB down to ~20MB without changing core APIs is wild.

Don’t build a todo app.

Build something you’d actually use.

You run into much more interesting problems once authentication, APIs, errors and data enter the picture.
