My psych-studying girlfriend just spent like 30 minutes describing how babies have been shown in studies to be prejudiced against those not like them and to be greedy.
Anakin was right. Fuck them kids.

In light of recent...actions, I'm taking a break from Twitter. I can't do anything in way of change, I'm not "worth" enough. But it will put my mind at ease and at least buy me more free time. I hope everyone who remains can find their way out of this dark mess we've found
I've been on Twitter for a while longer than is probably healthy or sane. I keep having this weird hope that if I debate enough, argue enough, provide enough evidence or logic or common sense that maybe people will get off the high speed train of hate, disparity, slant news.. 1/?
Are the abused and downtrodden, who then proceed to rise up by pushing others down. We've lost all sense of accountability, logic, responsibility to anything greater than ourselves, by and large. And we're now being led by men and women who exemplify that fact, but realize 3/?
The power it gives them over others, and stoke those flames for their own gain, damn the outcome for anyone else. They've dug the hole so deep for others that to acknowledge you're in a hole is to collapse your whole world, so understandably no one wants to. 4/?
@BrianPanch@elonmusk Also look up something called Nightshade, it's by MIT. Right now proof of concept, but it allows for people to give AI a picture of a dog and tell the AI it's a cat, so if you ask it for photos of a cat, they all look like dogs. Neat stuff, and shows AI limits well
@watchitlad@BrianPanch@elonmusk That's...pretty funny actually. Horrifying, but funny. Granted I doubt many people on Twitter are gonna pay attention to that detail
"But guys, why are Democrats ruining this country and causing so much divide? Why do they get so angry and butthurt when we just want to do things our way? Can't they consider our perspectives?"
@MattWalshBlog hope you enjoy your victory, man
I just want all the trans activists who forced my family out of our home and tried to destroy our lives for years to know that we beat you, we won, you lost everything, and you’re never getting it back. Now go languish in obscurity and irrelevance where you belong.
@EYakoby Counterpoint, a lot of Nazis ALSO traveled to Auschwhitz and were definitely Nazis. Hell, some Nazis even *lived* and *worked* there.
Wild stuff man
@seejepp@weinorbit@elonmusk That's a reasonable take. I think that's a fine line to draw, mostly, for reporting. However, in modern politics, we see a lot of fake news declarations that apply to whatever a side feels like, and a majority of their followers believe that w/o question. Hence the question above
.. Whereas, famously, the right is rather anti-higher ed, so less knowledge overall, less exposure to Wikipedia, and less knowledge base (on many topics, not all) to actually change or edit pages.
Tldr these arguments oversimplify and miss easy explanations to sell a story
This Wikipedia bias stuff misses a key note: most of these surveys look for negative language in discussion of the right/right leaning things. Wikipedia includes quotes. So if you discuss something, and cite evidence from people, chances are there's negative language...
...On another level, it wouldn't surprise me if more wiki contributors are left-leaning, as it does have baked in content checking, and generally the left promotes knowledge+ higher ed more, meaning more people who *can* and are *interested* in contributing to Wikipedia. ...
I think it's funny (in the worst kind of way) how all the people who held their nose and voted trump on economic policy (tariffs, no tax tips, tax change, etc.) all promised day one.....just got nothing? Instead all he did day one was rename shit, virtue signal, and be abrasive
