@CarinJudy@masnRoch It's a tough lefty and a very RHH heavy lineup. Both may PH later against the pen. Kjerstad looked bad against Newcomb, so i have no issues with with him starting on the bench vs Crochet.
@kambrice1tv It would definitely surprise me. Having a year better than every year except 2021 would not surprise me...having a year better than 2021? Huge surprise.
@_kingdode@kambrice1tv I don't disagree. They have options. But I think they're going to move so they give themselves a buffer so they can make a mid season move to cover any injury or unexpected hole that may pop up. So I do think they're going to try to get several million under.
@RpsAgainstTrump I have my issues with Reaganomics, I can at least follow the logic (albeit, in my opinion, flawed)...but Trump is just spouting nonsense that doesn't follow logic or reality. My hope is he's too busy talking the talk that it minimizes the damage he actually does.
@_kingdode@kambrice1tv I don't think so. They're looking to be competitive either way, but they're also looking to cut payroll. I think if they get Roki, Cease is the player they move to but payroll and if they don't get Roki, Arraez is the more likely player to be traded.
@finkle_is@stephenjnesbitt This is a solid big hall ballot. I personally would check 8 names if I had a vote. But the names checked are defensible. This is why there is such a high vote threshold to get elected as there are people with varying definitions of a HOFer and while many get votes few get enough
@editti22 It's just like everything else. People jump to conclusions based on preconceived notions without having all the facts. We don't have the results of the physical to know what was flagged and most of us don't have the medical degree to understand if what was flagged was significant
@kambrice1tv I don't think there are any more MLB Free Agents on the horizon...but I could still see a trade for a TOR with Kremer likely to be part of the package.
@BRWalkoff@BNightengale I mean, I take anything from Nightingale with a grain of salt, but that would certainly explain why he remains unsigned. The AAV seems right, but I can't imagine him getting that many years.
@BenVerlander He was an absolute stud in 2023. His 2024 was good, but not quite as amazing (despite the batting title). He's a heck of a contact hitter, can find gaps, & doesn't K, but doesn't walk much, have much speed, power or defense. Still, he's a guy that would fit in nearly any lineup.
