@USAHockeyNTDP Saw one player get helped off the ice w/ knee injury and another get taken onto a stretcher later in the game - is he ok? Didn't catch what happened from the stands :(
For this week's Making the Rounds, @leagueofemily and I went through the exhaustive history of LPL English, shouting out so many talented people who have been part of the product from the 2013 pre-recorded era to now
@Em_Alpha@Sipofcola_Tv look up "car accidents" online, there are countless examples of car drivers who end up in an accident. These people "supporting car transportation" wont be there when you eventually end up in an accident yourself. Only you can rescue yourself from a car accident (dont use a car)
yeah they say it takes talent to recognize talent and I remember Faker would always make a point to come over and personally shake my hand after every match we played. I would tell him next time I’ll go over to you but he’d just laugh hysterically. Not sure what was so funny

@jockeskit@thiol19403@LSXYZ9@hannivai havent looked into the specific model theyre using but i'm going to guess they didnt pay casters or riot to use their data, so might be an example of theft. also hanna specifically mentioned art, and i dont think ls meant his comments as complaining
@jockeskit@thiol19403@LSXYZ9@hannivai machine learning is also becoming a lot more common in research because it allows small teams to analyze huge amounts of complex data (like pictures of cells) which previously wasnt feasible. no one makes a fuss about it there because you're training the algo on your own data
@jockeskit@thiol19403@LSXYZ9@hannivai ...yeah pretty much. the most recent animated spiderman movie used machine learning in its creation by training the algo based on the hired artists' work so they wouldnt have to frame-by-frame hand-draw. machine learning is incredibly useful! but it can involve a LOT of theft
