There are Referee courses planned for 2025!!!!! If you are interested in becoming a football Referee get in touch.
@snoozedoggydog2 Same for me from 2.5 years ago. Didn’t feel like it at the time, but best thing to happen & now we get on so much better these days because of it
Well done and welcome to the 17 Army Football Officials that have completed the Basic Referee course this week.
These Referees will be mentored and coached along their Refereeing Journey, we looking forward to seeing them in action this season.

A successful and informative RAFA day comes to a close, this was also a opportunity for those on the 5-4 promotion pathway to complete their fitness test. The day finished with a session with Darren England.
We now move onto our annual dinner this evening @OfficialShots
Over the Easter period the Army FA have trained 24 youth Referees on behalf of Hampshire FA, a credit to all that attended and Ash United FC for facilitating the course

@Wr03Gaz @ManCity@Arsenal Bored, not at all. There’s private criticism, then there’s public criticism.
I’m trying to politely remind you, whatever you put on SM stays on there, and the FA take a dim view of it. I know this from talking to a ex L3 yesterday who placed similar views on SM years ago.
@Wr03Gaz @ManCity@Arsenal Well you have gone from 4 cautions missed to several.
The FA take a dim view of this from a L4 referee and yes it is criticism.
More importantly, would you like a fellow official watching you officiate & publicly comment on what you miss!
15 soldiers have been training this week to become Army Referees. The course is being held at Dalton Barracks. Today they are officiating at the Southern 6's. Courses are held throughout the year - please check out the details here: Referee Basic Courses - Army FA
The final whistle sounds here at the Victory Stadium where the game finishes 3-2. Two goals from Matty Glass and another from Jamie Gill were enough to secure a win after the Navy who had added to their first half strike.
@dannymoss07@nwcfl So pretty certain you’re meant to give 30 minutes after a game finishing to speak to the referee about decisions. That being said, if he relayed that to you instead of what you quoted, then I’m hoping it would have been discussed better to clarify the decisions
@dannymoss07@nwcfl Second one, at speed, I can see why he didn’t give it because it does look like the defender got a foot on it, but slowing it down, yeah a penalty. Assistant won’t get involved if the referee has waved it off already. Would have been a part of his pre match brief.
