The remarks about Kuya Josh were deeply insensitive, hurtful, and mean. I hope we can all learn to be more compassionate and mindful of our words, especially when speaking about someone whose journey we may not fully understand.
Disability is not a punchline.
Pope Leo XIV had a good second night in Gemelli Hospital after his lung surgery on Tuesday.
The Holy See Press Office said on Thursday morning that the Pope got up and had breakfast.
Using ai on anti ai pope is another kind of petty, especially when making jokes of a serious health condition.
John you know that jokes are meant to be funny, right ?
You namedropped and made fun of a child with special needs, someone na di naman public figure, someone na di naman part ng current events, someone na nananahimik lang. Nanggulo kayo ng katahimikan nung bata and now you're having a taste of your own medicine. 🤷♀️
‘REGRETTABLY, I MADE REMARKS THAT WERE DISPARAGING TOWARD JOSH AQUINO’
Tito P, one of the hosts of “Machong Chismisan,” issued a public apology over a recent podcast episode in which he made derogatory remarks about Josh Aquino, the eldest son of TV host Kris Aquino.
“Regrettably, I made remarks that were disparaging toward Josh Aquino and hurt many people who relate to his condition as a person on the autism spectrum, as well as those who have loved ones like him,” he wrote in a lengthy Facebook post on Wednesday.
In the now-deleted podcast episode, Tito P called Josh “walang kwenta” and compared him to his younger brother, Bimby.
While he acknowledged that he could relate to Josh as someone diagnosed with ADHD, he stressed that this was not an excuse for his “hurtful words or the laughter that followed.”
“I am reaching out to those who were directly affected by the remarks to hopefully extend my apologies in person. And I will continue to hear helpful and professional advice as to how to make myself more accountable and more respectful in the future,” he added.
