I have always respected and loved @PeterObi as an entrepreneur, now I'm awestruck by his achievements as a governor. If wishes were horses He will be my president in 2023 @instablog9ja@lindaikeji https://t.co/P9r5LeJNfi
Bandits tried to stop him and kidnap him, he refused to press break, unfortunately he was shot and killed. I will rather take my chance like this than allow them catch me and do me what they’re doing. Rest well brother.
Micheal Jordan makes $400M a year from Jordan Brand because he had originally turned down Nike to sign with Adidas but his mom disagreed with him and urged him to listen to her and sign with Nike.
Nike offered Jordan $500k per year and his own shoe line but his mom wanted him to have equity in the company instead.
Today Nike pays Michael Jordan over $250 million per year for his entire life. Jordan Brand is worth over $10 BN and Jordan’s net worth is approximately $4.3 BN
He has earned the majority of his net worth because he listened to his mom ❤️
Terrorists ambushed, slaughtered, bombed, disrespected and desecrated our colleagues in the Armed Forces, who happened to be your brothers, fathers, uncles, in-laws, friends, husbands and confidants.
They were killed without remorse while shouting "Allahu Akbar".
Then instead of retaliation, the government hoodwinks the same military to organize " Peace talks" with these terrorists, who came for those meetings in the uniforms of our slain comrades.
Then your tax payers money is being used to fund the rehabilitation of these bloodthirsty animals, all in the name of OPERATION SAFE CORRIDOR. They are finally reintegrated into the same society where they cause more mayhem!!!
They are sent to Saudi Arabia🇸🇦 for Hajj, given the best healthcare system via NHIS, paid monthly salaries, all from your tax deductions!
You now decide to spit on the memories of your loved ones by coming out to support the initiative!
Are you not stupid?!
In Nigeria, we live by the dash.
Everyone expects you to dash them. The security man doing his job, the police doing his job, the person giving you direction, the one helping with a parking space, the babe you said hi to, the relations that think you have money.
The list is endless.
On Lekki, got into what i call a lil pot - Hole that resulted to my Tire torn so badly. Had to manage the car till i got to 1004. Parked and got my spare tire out.
Before i could say Jack, HOODLUMS about 9 came out from no where 😂 asking for funds. One was chilled enough to get a vulcanizer. The rest were just about money.
One said, he knows my face. He has seen me with Burna Boy. One looking so rugged tried to raise his voice, the Ajebor in me left immediately and i activated the calabar south boy (eyen ekpo) in me.
They started begging i give them 150k 😂. I sent 50k to them and actually told them to get lost.
LAGOS IS A DEN OF THIEVES.
DROVE WITH MY SPARE BACK HOME.
GOOD HERE 🙏🏾
I'll say something that won't sit well with many of you.
I didn't see much help as a struggling guy, like now that I'm not struggling.
I have not been seeking help, but people have been stretching hands, genuinely.
During my construction project, people brought bags of cement without asking them.
People asked for my account number, and I refused...
They came to my store to take the account numbers, sent money into them, and shared receipts.
People told me to message them, I refused, but they came, opened their apps in front of me, and pressed me money.
It might feel hard.
But wriggle your way up.
There's much more help at the upper level compared the ground level.
Hustle your way up.
I'm telling you this from the deepest part of my heart.
And it is one of the Ironies of life.
People who don't need help get more help than people who actually need help.

1. A friend came to stay the weekend with us at Doctors’ Quarters in UNIBEN in 1988. We didn't know he was allergic to eggs, and someone used the same oil that had been used to fry eggs to fry plantains. He ate the plantains and started immediately looking like the Michelin Man. Our landlord (a doctor) saved him with Hydrocortisone.
2. My youngest sister came to Accra for a visit and decided to do her hair. Some overzealous hairdresser decided she needed to dye her hair. The dye touched her scalp and she lost most of her hair while her head swelled double. She ended up in hospital for days.
3. I ate some fried meat balls in Togo in 2021 and went into shock. I recovered in hospital 8 hours later. Ended up in Accra and in hospital for a week. I don't eat processed meat till today.
4. Also me, earlier this year. I ate too much groundnuts and had a swollen neck. Ended up in hospital with complications including anaemia.
People die of allergies in Africa regularly and they call it “witchcraft.”

THE GENERAL WAS BEATEN TO DEATH 😭😭😭💔💔💔
No where in the world would anyone believe that an Army General would be beaten to death by rag tag terrorists.
It'll never be well with Tinubu and everyone supporting him and the APC.
You just made your first $1M. Your brain immediately jumps to the bigger house, the nicer car, that business idea you’ve been itching to execute.
Resist all of it, that instinct is exactly why most people who come into money are broke again within a few years.
The move nobody teaches you: do nothing.
Let it sit. Don’t deploy it, don’t try to flip it, don’t show it off. Park it somewhere safe that pays you while you think. Lock it into a 2–3 month yield-bearing instrument e.g T-bills, low-risk positions, safe and battle-tested protocols.
You’re not trying to get rich off it; you’re already there. You’re buying yourself time to think clearly and getting paid to do it.
Run the numbers. $1M at just 5% APR:
→ $50,000 a year → $4,167 a month → $137 a day
Every day you wake up, $137 landed in your account. You didn’t touch your principal. You didn’t lift a finger, and if that 5% compounds daily, you’re closer to $51,200 a year, the money starts making money on the money.
So before you spend a single dollar or naira, ask yourself one question: can this purchase pay for itself from the interest alone? If yes, you’ve earned it. If no, you’re eating your seed.
Anyone can GET money. Keeping it is a different skill entirely and it starts with the discipline to sit still while everyone expects you to splurge.
Sometimes parking it and letting it pay you is the best play ever. This is from experience, don’t joke with your once-in-a-lifetime SEED when it comes your way.
Eric here again with every bit of our silent thoughts.
The month of June is for Men’s mental health, and we are saying thank you to all the men out there making sacrifices to attain fulfillment for their families.
When my DAD lost his job, My MUM changed, she nagged, comes home late and made us believe he was abus!ve 😢
Even when he corrected my SISTERS for dressing indecently, she turned it into a fight and made us join her to insult him.
Now that I'm married, I see things differently. My MUM was controlling and unfaithful, and my DAD was just a Broken MAN trying his BEST. He is gone now, and I will never get the chance to say sorry. 💔😢
How do you live with the GUILT of realizing too late that the DAD you judge harshly was actually a Victim? 💔
In 1961, something unheard of before happened.
A Russian surgeon who was stationed at the military base in Antarctica had appendicitis.
He was the only Doctor and surgery was the only solution.
Due to the harsh weather at that time, he could not be evacuated.
His name was Leonid Rogonov, he was 27 years.
He instructed the non medics in camp to bring a mirror and light sources.
He injected himself, he opened his belly, put his hand to locate his intestines himself. Used the mirror to located the appendix.
He cut the appendix and sewed himself back together.
This operation lasted 2 hours, it was successful. He took time off to rest and in 2 weeks he was perfectly fine and back to work.
He later died 39 years later of Cancer of the lungs at 66 years.
As we lie comfortably in our beds, under duvets with our ACs on, helpless children are sleeping in the forest under the open sky. Their only crime was going to school and being Nigerian.
Bring back the Oyo children.

@instablog9ja If irresponsibility was person, it would've been this multiple mother.
How do you blame God and everyone else but yourself, for your poor choices?
