In 2024, I got the chance to be part of @MIT 's Venture Advancement Program. On the fourth day, I seriously thought about quitting.
I had just received critical feedback, I was running on five or six hours of sleep, and I still had to pitch in front of around 50 people.
On the last day, to my complete shock, Algorizin came out on top of the 29 founders in the program. I've thought about that week a lot since. I didn't win it alone, and I couldn't have. The strongest thing a startup can have is the right people beside it.
When I moved to the US, I didn’t have much of a financial cushion.
But I knew that if I wanted agency in my life, I’d need financial stability.
So I started building.
I founded multiple companies, started investing in stocks and startups.
Recently, I’ve also started publishing courses on Udemy.
Each step gave me more control over my future.
If you're still relying on a single income stream, it’s time to learn how to diversify and grow.
Reached over 10,000 enrollments in just two weeks on Udemy.
I’ve always loved teaching and this year, I unlocked this new way to reach even more people.
But it’s just the beginning.
2026 will be full of new releases, better content, and even more learners.
Thank you!
I started Algorizin because I was once lost and later, I didn’t want others to be.
As an immigrant, I had to build agency from scratch.
I spent a decade figuring it out the hard way.
That journey taught me one thing:
What you know can change your life.
Back in January, I set 3 personal goals for the year.
One of them was to relearn Arabic.
I’ve now shown up for it every day, 280+ days straight on Duolingo.
It started with a few minutes here and there.
Some basic grammar and a lot of vocabulary.
But more importantly, it reignited my connection with the language.
Still, something has become clear over time:
Duolingo is an OK start, but it won’t take me all the way.
So now, I’m ready to go deeper and keep learning.
