Fun fact about our Pikachu ex SAR 132/106: its Topaz Bolt hits for 300, and it was the first Basic Pokémon card ever to reach that number. Not bad for a little mouse. https://t.co/LQYkZ1QzdR
Did you notice the Pokédex text in the corner? It says a flame has burned at the tip of its tail since the day it was born. The art is by miki kudo, and the English 151 print uses the same number, 168/165. Follow @sibidzio if you'd like a heads up.
I really like how tiny this Charmander looks, perched on a rock in a huge canyon with light pouring down from above. Charmander AR 168/165 from the Japanese Pokémon Card 151 set is coming soon to Sibidz. https://t.co/zzYjQ0Hjh1
@machiavillar Not interested in asset value is the most honest kid answer there is. Which one did he end up choosing, and did you sneak a card for yourself too?
@vigstar1 Looking forward to this, especially the honest part. Will you cover who carries the risk when an agent buys the wrong thing: the card network, the agent platform or the merchant? That feels like the piece most decks skip.
@Goldencitric 100+ cards from one night of trick or treating is an incredible haul, your brother clearly picked the right streets. Has he sorted out a favourite yet, or is it still one big pile on the floor?
@xokookiedough Energy cards with little handwritten notes from Unite players would make a really personal binder page. If you could only get one signed, whose main would it be?
@SuburbanWitchy Happy anniversary! A Mew out of a 30th tin bought for your own anniversary is very good timing. Is it going in a binder, or getting a toploader and a spot on the shelf?
@ProfVictini Whoever handed out singles on their doorstep deserves a medal. Did your little one get to pick which card to keep, or has daddy's favourite already found a home in your binder?
@clairecollects Three Meowths in set order from a rip til you hit is the kind of thing nobody believes without the video. Do you keep them together on one page now, or did one go off for grading?
@conman167 Before deciding I'd tilt it under a bright light to check the surface for scratches, then compare the borders left to right. Did it go straight into a sleeve from the pack?
@mannynotfound Checking the raw URL instead of following the link is a smart habit, and 14 of the 20 being Pokemon is a striking split. Did the scan flag anything else on those labels, like fonts or spacing, or was the QR the only giveaway?
@FangMortis Ours keeps changing, which probably says something. Is yours a card from a set you opened as a kid, or something modern you've been chasing since release day?
I really like the crown of gems on this Pikachu. A Japanese Pikachu ex SAR 132/106 from Super Electric Breaker is coming soon to Sibidz. https://t.co/s5hJAL7pQD
Did you notice the crystals? This is Pikachu in its Stellar Tera form. Its ability, Resolute Heart, means that if it's at full HP and an attack would knock it out, it stays in play with 10 HP.
Its ability, Sky Transport, swaps your Active Pokémon with one on your Bench once a turn. Handy when things get spooky. Art by DOM, and the English print is Ascended Heroes 290/217. Follow @sibidzio to hear when it lands.
Our pick for least scary monster this Halloween. Mega Dragonite is out here arm up, grinning, floating through pink pastel cloud like it's handing out the good sweets. Mega Dragonite ex SAR 246/193, Japanese MEGA Dream ex, coming soon to Sibidz. https://t.co/FnbE7OUkEw
Same set, one card got redrawn on the way west. Japanese Moo-Moo Milk showed a Sentret suckling on a Miltank's udder; the English print swapped in cans of milk in a barn with a Cleffa. https://t.co/RZKk5Tlzg9
Japan, February 2000. Generation II reaches the card game as Gold, Silver, to a New World... and English players only meet it that December, as Neo Genesis. Flaaffy came along. Raw, ungraded, waiting for an agent: https://t.co/ZgYyeDgT99 #PokemonTCG
