This is not accurate, it's only true in virtual navigation mode, and JAWS has the same behavior.
@_aaronbnb Well yeah, in both cases -- unpaid volunteer moderators don't (and can't be expected to) have the time and focus to perform full secure audits of submitted software. So relying on that as the primary means through which apps can get into their store, it's a total non-starter

@_aaronbnb Two people with exactly the same impairment might experience significantly different disabling effects. You can't compare those things in any non-arbitrary way without first experience the other person's consciousness (which is impossible and logically contradictory).
@_aaronbnb I needed to think about this for a while, and I've concluded that I don't accept the distinction. Or more precisely, it's impossible to objectively make that distinction on a case-by-case basis, because the distinction is arbitrary and subjective.
@pauljadam Only the other day I made myself write "Since VoiceOver can't be directly detected..." to avoid the moral crisis of describing how it can. Just gonna try and forget that I know.
