An unaccompanied 16-year-old Eritrean boy turned up at our youth club this week, just after opening, with some others.

He was a new face so I asked him how long he'd been in the UK and he said: "today".

I said: "what do you mean 'today'?"
He said: "I arrived, just today".

Yesterday “ our” Govt won a vote on a Bill which limits our right to protest. Today it will post pics of flags, light up buildings and praise brave Russians for doing just that. Anyone see the dangerous hypocrisy here. It’s back to the Lords but little hope unless more 1/2

Today I learned...

The white man in this photo was Peter Norman from Australia who finished 2nd the 1968 200m final. Norman stood in solidarity with the American Black athletes. It was Norman who suggested, when discovered they only had 1 pair of gloves, to each wear one. (cont)
