Totally done with South African stories. The endless recycling of family drama and Mjolo is exhausting. Why don't we have sci-fi, political thrillers, law, or crime investigations?Whenever we get a good niche series, it gets canceled after 1-2 seasons.

genuinely fuck whoever came up w the dumbass idea to replace THE DICTIONARY BUILT INTO GOOGLE with the ai overview's definitions i hope everything in their life fucking sucks
@NOXmahlangu@Malatjie_ They shouldn't close at all, do this for all departments and the little by little the rest of the economy will follow and then we can become a 24 hour working society and hire more people
@Ntshembo_Vuma@snezuluh Jesus christ today we have to educate everyone about tax COMPANIES DONT PAY VAT, vat is paid by the final consumer, if a company charges 4 rand for a product it will have to add 1 rand and sell it for 5 rand then collect that 1 rand on behalf of the government
@MissLihleM@George_Smooth@FlowMasoka@snezuluh Dude personal income tax is paid by employees, 0% of companies in South africa pay income tax... an employee is paid 100 for they work they did for a company the government takes 30 from that 100 then the employee gets 70 simple as that, COMPANIES DON'T PAY INCOME TAX
@Makgxnagalx@MainlandAfrica Yeah we are doing well in finance, but finance is not growing the economy, it is not hiring people, and how does it secure our future, if south africa gets isolated/sanctined... how will we ensure our survival
We should create a law that gives companies tax breaks based on an innovation score
To encourage more innovation over cooking accounting books for profit
@Amahashi_ Most stupid shit I've read, who do you think wrote software to fly planes and fly rockets, just because you are only familiar with software that needs only a certificate it doesn't mean that's all the software there is, who wrote the code to run data centers, the fucking internet
@Markosonke1 Create a fund for SADC projects and countries won't contribute directly to a project but to the fund. The fund management will determine what it should be used for, apply heavy fines on countries that seek to corrupt the fund, Including removing them from management of the fund
Why can't SADC countries come together and build an Oil Refinery Plant in Angola and build pipe lines that service all these countries instead of spending millions of dollars buying fuel in the Middle East
What stops Africans from doing this?.
